I'm going to buck the trend and say this one is $155k tops; perhaps closer to $150k (before BaT fees).

$175k-$200k it’s already at $110k and 6 days left………

Just based on Pcarmarket and BAT, wouldn't seem 4S is bringing any less money recently.

The disproportionate amount of C4S cars on the market this year compared to C2S cars is pretty weird.

nope…manual. That was the going rate in 2008/09. I bought a 10,000 mile C2 in 2008 for $28k 😀. The good ol’ days!

Ive had my car for 20 years. I’ve watched the 993 market (WB) for most of that time. Have haggled with insurance companies, etc.
ive never seen a 12,000 mile 993 C2S for $50k.
you must have been at the right place at the right time and caught a fire sale at the height of the economic downturn.

I bought the C2S here on Rennlist…no fire sale…that was the price. It was advertised here for $52,500. The C2 was on eBay…one female owner. Anyone could have bought it.

sure. It’s not worth arguing again. The difference in value is probably negligible and more factored on mileage, condition, history, etc.

I will say, it would be interesting to see what a low mileage, great condition, aerokit, sport seat, well optioned, no damage, Carrera S would sell for.
only Tarek could guess. Lol.

I bought my C4S in 2005. High mileage versions were in the mid 30’s, mid mileage versions in the low to mid 40’s, and low mileage C4S’s in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s. 993 turbos were in the 80’s at that time.

I had been saving up for a while to buy a 993 turbo. As fate would have it while I was looking, my daily driver started having maintenance problems and I had to get another daily driver. So instead of getting a 993 turbo, I bought an e39 M5 as my daily driver and a C4S to take care of the 993 itch. That was a good year. I still have them both.

Yep…I remember a black/black 14,000 mile Turbo advertised here in 2006 for $74k in PA. I went to see it and it had a good sized chip on the door, so I passed. What an idiot!

These cars were 8 - 10 year old used sports cars then, not classics.

Agreed. It's causing @gbos to get frothy with continued claims of 4S being worth more than 2S.

Figure maybe 2S people hold onto them?

I bought my 1996 black/black C4S in 2010 for $46K cdn. Car had 49,000 miles on it when I bought it! Cant remember what the exchange rate was at that time but it definitely wasn't at par!

don't forget, 2008 was a financial ruin of a year. i remember our gross revenue was down 50% in one year. miserable year, but it would have been a great opportunity to pick up a deal.
