Does lack of originality actually impact value IF the mods are highly desirable? I think Singer- and this thing is approaching that territory with the high level of mods. Is a Singer a modded 964? Technically you could argue it is. I would have to say there's a limited audience for a car like this- and BAT may have been a better venue to sell it- but wow this car has it all and with today's prices, $ 200K for a car with probably $ 300K invested including the original purchased vehicle- it may be a deal even. We'll see-

I think the car falls into the Singer bucket, the mods all add value in my mind. Given unlimited funds, we'd all like to have that motor in our 993s!

This car is not at the level of what singer builds. Its a great restomod and in some ways preferable to a singer in my view - but totally different build level from what I can see.

El Guapo : Would you say I have a heckblende

Jefe : A what?

El Guapo : A heckblende

Jefe : Oh yes, you have a heckblende

El Guapo : Jefe, what is a heckblende?

Jefe : Why, El Guapo?

El Guapo : Well, you told me I have a heckblende. And I just would like to know if you know what a heckblende is. I would not like to think that a person would tell someone he has a heckblende and then find out that that person has *no idea* what it means to have a heckblende.

Tried everything last week to pick up the red/ tan C2S Tippy from MBZ of Frederickburg - clean car fax but when I ran Vin Analytics it came up as a Puerto Rico car so I asked for Autocheck report but that never happened and it sold. Last asking price 112K.
Something was fishy but I cant put my finger on it....anyone know?

AGREE- but the options are insane! Obviously a Singer is a $ 500K - $ 1MM car. The engine alone in this car could sell for over $ 100K on it's own- add trans- probably $ 120K. If I owned this car and didn't get $ 225K plus, i'd pull the motor and put a nicely rebuilt 3.6 back in it with some upgrades and sell the car separate of the motor. That is a BEAST engine and super expensive to build.

Arctic Silver C2S Tip car sold for 163k after fees... and it had a 4x4 ride height

There is now this Slate Grey C2S Tip car as an immediate follow-up auction: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...rera-s-3-6-31/

At this point, someone should just buy that Zenith Blue C2S Tip out of Colorado with the accident history
