Can’t believe he went there. Til this day I prefer the 4S over the 2S, the 4s over the 2s. We can argue this til the cow’s come home. I’m not saying the 4s are better, just always say ‘I prefer’ the 4s over the 2s across the board on all variants based on my driving enjoyment. Now that I reflect I don’t have any 2wd Pcars left. Will have to fix that in years to come.

There is also a distinct difference in the 2S over the 4S that (in my opinion) makes the driving experience more pure and balanced."

The seller is entitled to his opinion. After converting my car from AWD to RWD, I honestly can't say he's necessarily wrong. Again...just opinions and it doesn't mean the 4S is bad either.

Some people just prefer apples to oranges. It's a debate with no answer - entirely subjective. AWD, the car feels solid as a rock and completely planted and unflappable. RWD, the front end lightens up and the steering becomes lighter and more delicate. A little more communicative. But these are subtle differences and nothing worth getting up in arms about.

I think this is exactly the point - none of us that are driving these cars on back roads are coming any where near testing the limits to know the true difference in terms of performance...otherwise there would be regular occurrences of cars meeting trees.

The debate, to me at least, is one of the dumbest I've seen in car culture in a while...and that's saying something, cause I use to be a regular member of Fchat.

You are the S 4S debate personified. I hope there are no sharp objects around trying to figure out which one belongs in the scrap heap.

Okay, I need to apologize to anyone in the C2S vs. C4S debate if I offended. I am a little emotional right now, and it's because of this:

https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/1...e-911sc-targa/

Lost my rear wheel drive, tossable, make it scream and put away wet, Lotus Elise (that cost me $180 a year in maintenance)...and was obsessing over this car all weekend...until the bid hit unobtanium.

Wow.

Sorry that auction didn't go your way, but holy cow that's a nice build. Wow.

I'm not convinced the bids are out of line!

ehhh that’s why these cars are so great, because you CAN drive them at 9/10. That actually sounds like a great argument for Fchat though because on anything modern I agree with the statement.

They both have incredible strengths and their own character. I'm not going to say which I prefer. Very few people get to compare these back to back. End of the day, you are driving a marvel of engineering and that should be appreciated enough.

Right?! That's what I'm sayin'! That build is off the charts...it got almost everything right...and 300hp...not too much, not too little.
