992.2 Info

Here in the U.S., the configurator still allows you to configure a car.
However, I noticed the price has increased by $1,650 USD for an unoptioned 992.1 Carrera 4S. (I don’t know if the same price increase applies to other variants as well. Perhaps others can check?)

That’s the destination charge.

This thread is an endless loop (of which an example above) for illiterate and/or lazy. What's even worse, valid and credible information gets lost among mere speculation and rumours when people post info they heard from their sister's hairdresser's godfather's goddaughter in the same vein as those who have received some plausible and sound info from people actually close to Porsche or even from Porsche (ref: @silversurfer6 's posts). No wonder everybody's confused!

The biggest change is moving the turn signals to the headlights, which hasn’t been the case since the 996.2. Interesting look and I’m not sure yet how I feel about it.

PAG did something similar with the 992 Carrera T. At least one press car was PTS Gulf Blue, though they did not make PTS available until the very end of the two-year run, and even then it was only for a few examples. It was a cruel tease for the many PTS hopefuls, especially since PTS was never available for the 991.2 T.

I was thinking about speed yellow or whatever yellow is on the Macan EV from drive tests. Strange that they will show a PTS press car and PTS is not available on Macan EV.

Looks more like signal yellow, but they seem to be coming out with new colors for the EV Macan.

I'm a bit of a n00b to Porsche but from what I can tell looking at configurators for the past year, Porsche offers far more non PTS colors on the Macan and Taycan than they do on the 911

What does that Macan Turbo EV weigh? 6000 pounds?
