What do you need more than the two main models that are launching:

1) Launch of base with around 400bhp. No manual. ICE only but not sure about 48V mentioned above since I do not check

2) GTS with 541bhp. Hybrid. No manual.

July first month of production and of course allocations. Delivery of first cars in August.

Additionally a rennlist first - based that I have not seen or read about this info anywhere else: 2025 turbo (non s) with no hybrid, 2 wheel drive only and manual option.

I hope you’re right about this so I can again feel the pain of trying to get an allocation for a car and being laughed at/rejected like the 992 GT3 😅

You said earlier in this thread that week 22 is the reveal but this other guy is saying one week away? SS any comment on definitive day of release? Thanks

If this really does happen, I am sure this is only for Europe. US probably won't see any 992.2s until after Jan. 25. Personally, I think this is all fiction until Porsche actually changes their website and formally announces the new 992.2 models with a new configurator.

I have been told week 22 - Tuesday - BUT I did not ask to confirm.

Maybe in six days the dealers will get their internal configurator. Or maybe an announcement and then configurator in week 22.

In any case if the latest schedule will be followed i.e production and allocations in July then the cars will launch in May.

I have no idea about US. But if the base is ICE only then first cars should arrive in the US in September if it is a worldwide launch which usually is. If the hybrid system on the GTS needs the same approvals as the cayenne hybrid then yes it will arrive in the US in 2025.

By the way marketing has started and there is a post today and they are of course concentrated on the engine:

The rear wheel only manual turbo will be such a cool variant if legit. And smart. At least here in LA (which is a massive Porsche market) i see VERY FEW regular turbos. Apparently around here if you want a turbo, you've got the coin to make it a turbo S because at least 9/10 I see are Turbo S. So adding some differentiation between the two (other than speed) would be a very smart move. It also sets the stage for the return of the widow-maker GT2RS.

great catch.

if you see the flow, they talk about PDK and then conclude with hybrid tech. This might mean PDK versions will have this tech and you won’t be able to get manual and hybrid at the same time.

Yes and see how often turbo is referenced also.

It is a PAG repost. I am fairly confident that I posted a similar screenshot myself 3 to 4 weeks ago.
