Agreed. I wasn't saying that it makes sense, just that for me I care less about what a race car looks like (from a cosmetic perspective) and more how it performs.

nah , OK for a concept but 992.2 it isn't,
that rear will make the 911 less iconic
(i.e. mach better the 991 over any 992)
we have to accept these style idiocy only bc drives better

We will probably will see these lights on 994.

Loking at the mules, 992.2 spears to be a minor facelift (from cosmetic perspective).

according to new European law restrictions (2024) it’s not allowed to use letters and logos not bigger than 10cm (4inch)!

Is this height, or does it also restrict the width to 10cm?

Do you happen know the motivation/logic behind this?

In case you haven't seen these spy shots from Autoblog, theses seem to have minimal camouflage...

I guess that's one way to make sure everyone upgrades to the sport design package.

No intercooler exit air vents down low on the bumper. Very much a 991.1 look.

Would you mind posting a picture of what vents you mean?

Sure, notice the lack of venting down low on the bumper on the 991.1 cars:

991.2 vents on bottom left (both sides) represent intercooler exit air path:

992.1 same thing:

Notice those vents missing on the new spy shots here:

Here's a better illustration of the turbo air path:

Naturally aspirated cars just use the upper engine cover for intake, no pass through cooling required like on the intercooled cars.
