to be honest, the dillema is not going to be with 4s/gts models, but with turbo s. New fully loaded Turbo S will be close or even same price as new huracan, and more expensive then mclaren artura. Or similiar price to used 296gtb with 5k milage and <2 years on it.
as much as i love porsche, there is no way i would chose turbo s here.

@silversurfer6 thank you for all the info. I have seen speculated power figures for the S and GTS. Are there any speculations on the power figures for the TT and TTS?
TTS with twin eturbos will be a beast.

between the major price increases, low allocation numbers, and things like losing the Le Man style key, I’m beginning to think that the current Porsche management wants to now be Ferrari.
Porsche owned the $100,000 world between MB and Ferrari. I’m not sure it’s worth it to give up that large lucrative niche.
Porsche made plenty of money selling sports cars between 130K to 230K as no one was in that space.

So If you have an issue with your Ferrari, Lamborghini or Porsche.. a blown engine , or something critical,
which manufacturer do you trust the most to resolve the issue to your satisfaction.
Any car can have a potential serious issue, the question is which boat would you want to be in when it springs a leak.
Im satisfied with Porsche, and will bet on German over Italian regardless of a 7 year warranty.
its how the issue is resolved as well as if it’s resolved or not.

That’s a bummer and an unfortunate move away from their heritage.

I can bet that option would be as popular as sport chrono and basically auto buy, no clue how they dint think to milk that for $$
