Given the push to higher prices it's interesting that DR. ING. H.C. F. PORSCHE AG PFD is trading near 52 wk low.

Right. Now.

You are aware that the last round of 992.1 allocations were distributed at the first of this month? .1 production ceases in late July. There is zero need for any SA to push a sell of any 992 even with the impending .2.

Furthermore the vast majority of the general public has no clue that the 992.2 is coming. It is doubtful that many would care as well.

There are always surprise allocations, as well as cars already on the ground.

And anyone posting on RL (like the OP whose SA said no MT in the T and S) is certainly aware of the rumors, hearsay, innuendos floating around the Interwebs. Heck, those same people may be the ones actually originating the "information".

Garbage in, garbage out.

May 28 cannot come soon enough.

Well the 911 has a far higher profit margin than 20%, in fact I've read that its the most profitable mass produced car made. I am sure that they lose money on every EV they sell, just not enough volume there to cover engineering and development costs.

Dealers received those “surprise allocations” at the first of the month as many dealers had already been informed by PCNA in April that there would not be any more .1 allocations distributed.

Got to test drive a very similar model to mine coming in September. SA says they only getting “undefined” 911’s for 25 now. Last batch was all 2025.

If the 992.1 is the last Carrera S manual, it will retain its value very well. Look at the 997 Turbo manuals.

I am hoping the 992.2 S and GTS models with just the 48V e-turbo (I assume these would be the 48V version of the e-turbo) will have a manual available. I see no reason why the e-turbo cars couldn't easily integrate a manual transmission. I personally want to purchase a 992.2 S with a manual transmission in the future. The e-turbo system sounds very exciting and if executed well I think it could be a smash hit. I could understand not having a manual available in the 'Super-GTS' with the 400V e-turbo and electric motor up front. The rumored 992.2 rwd Turbo with a manual also sounds interesting.

Porsche did also design the 992.1 PDK to integrate an electric motor in with the transmission for the 'future hybrid system'. I am not hearing much on that at all from all these rumors. Maybe that idea got scrapped or it is still somehow going happening. May 28th is 11 days away.

You also realize if the car shows up I don’t have to buy it and get my deposit refunded.

So what’s there to lose?

Of course. And yet you still have people here saying ADMs are going away or gone. Keep dreaming.

Wait till you hear about the way Ferrari increases prices.... I had a roma spider order allocation and the numbers got a wee bit crazy.

I'm guessing the 992.2 price increase will mirror that of the new Cayenne.

~6k across the board, with perhaps the top end models like the TT/TTS seeing a 10k increase

.

My SA is guessing the same thing, he is saying that usually there is a 5K to 7K increase per year no mater what, however it might reach 10K in some rare cases.

This is the quote. Reminds me of something the Emperor from Star Wars would say. A low key arrogant statement. Can’t wait for this putz to get fired.

And with this, some downshift a model. Want a Cayenne Turbo? Go Cayenne S. Want a 992 TTS? Go GTS.

This garbage will be a deal breaker on a 911 for me. A major miss if they implement what it looks like on the Cayenne. The Cayenne tach used to be great looking.
