LOL.
This may be true in your case and I have no reason to doubt you but do not assume that "many" would choose a Base 911 over 911 GTS if cost and availability were taken out of the equation in that hypothetical situation. Take rate on the GTS would be way over 90%, bet the farm on that.
Outside of price there is clearly no reason to buy a base 992.

To each their own.
The GTS is over $20,000 more expensive than the S I configured to my taste. Apart from the garish cosmetics of the GTS (black wheels and race-tex=barf), I’m not interested in the rear seat delete, sport bucket seats, aero kit or the sports exhaust. Bigger brakes would be a nice upgrade and I think they should be offered for the S, instead of having PCCBs as the only alternative to the 350mm discs.
For what I want, the S is better value.

Having a YouTube channel and amassing a subscription base requires the presenter to provide some sort of entertainment. The ape can’t do it on his own! Based on this thread. I would say he is doing a damn fine job of hitting his main goal: Increasing views and improving his name recognition.

Burning Brakes
this is an emotional statement, not a factual statement. I am getting a GTS because that is the allocation available. Really, affording a GT car is far less challenging than getting one. To lump all GTS owners or S or T or etc. into one type of buyer is silly.
