some updated pics with a bit less camo here on a 992.2 cab. As always I think its going to look slightly better than the .1. Also not sure how anybody doubts hybrids are coming, part of the original 992.1 press package talked about the transmission specifically being built to integrate hybrid powertrains... from the beginning. Just what we need, MORE VARIANTS!

Do you know which trims usually gets released with the .2?

Particularly interested in getting the .2 GTS if it comes out in MY24 but if I have to wait an additional 1-2 years after the C2S then I may just get the .1 GTS.

I was told that if I order GTS today, it will be a 992.2 and in +24 months, as 992.2 GTS will be released 12-24 months after the base & S derivatives.

Yeah that's what I'm afraid of. In that case, I need to get a GTS ASAP or wait another 12 months+ for the 992.2 GTS to come out.

Ahhh so funny, I am the complete opposite... I never liked the 991.2 sport exhaust set up... It was slightly farther apart than a GT3 center exhaust and that bugged the crap out of me haha... I agree, the 992.1 is not a great looking exhaust either, the four pipes of the non sport exhaust look way better, but I still like it more than this style again. All personal preference though, Im sure plenty of people will be thrilled its going back to this look again

Not quite. Andreas P. mentioned when the 4L NA was released for the 718 that it will appear in other models. There is a type of loophole that allows larger displacement engines to exist despite increasing emissions regs.

Dr Frank-Steffen Walliser mentioned the opposite. Source: https://www.carthrottle.com/post/sor...ed-in-the-911/

“The 4.0-litre engine in the GTS can’t be rotated through 180 degrees to fit in the 911. We will not see them again [N/A engines in the Carrera range]. I’m sorry about that,” he said. “The R&D costs are too high to develop such an engine for the Carrera,” he added.

The 992.2 S will likely be equivalent performance wise to the 992.1 GTS, so if your
comfortable with the .1 GTS you should be good to go with the .2 S.

Not really interested in GTS for the power. I'm sure it is exactly the same power as the S.

I wanted the carbon buckets with lightweight package.

Ahh..gotcha. Makes sense. Those are the best GTS options out there IMO. Don’t see a lot of them on here unfortunately.

Never trust anything AP says when it comes to production projections.

Engineering? Yes.

Everything else? Marketing gibberish.

Can't wait to see the improvements on the interior...will they have the GUTS to keep the nubbin? Will they implement something new?
The rumour of digital tach is immensely disappointing. Terrible.
Also can't wait to see this updated front and back end...a step fwd or step back?

Not sure how reliable, but this seems to imply no major mechanical changes for most of the line-up, aside from usual power bumps, styling tweaks, etc. (i.e., no mention of hybrid across the line-up).
