I think I am glad I got a 23-the last of the 992.1s.

Me too. I'm very happy with the 992.1. It was sooner than I planned for, but being that I wanted a GTS and they usually come out last-ish, and then the talk of hybridization, made me jump on the allocation when it was offered this past June. Bottom line is I don't want any part of hybridization, didn't want to wait indefinitely for a 992.2 allocation, and I've been burned in the past buying a new model car in its first year. Won't ever do that again, regardless of what Brand it is.

Can't wait to see the improvements on the interior...will they have the GUTS to keep the nubbin? Will they implement something new?
The rumour of digital tach is immensely disappointing. Terrible.
Also can't wait to see this updated front and back end...a step fwd or step back?

In addition to hybridization, gas particulate filters (GPF) - like the Euro models - will be coming to the USA models soon…..so agree with both of you to buy now. I personally doubt Porsche will change its successful marketing strategy: 1.) forcing customers to upgrade to an “S” or wait for a “T” if they want a manual and 2.) paying the price for a GT3 for 4.0 NA and manual (as otherwise it will severely undercut the GT3 demand and market).

Ah okay, and working backward from there, figure 6 months from allocation to delivery im guessing any allocation locked and ordered March or earlier will be 2023 and after that will be 2024 (with higher price). Just ballparking.

It likely won’t be outside the GT cars which are using the 7 speed PDK. The 7 speed PDK requires a physical linkage to shift between PRND, hence the lever. The 8 speed PDK is completely electronic, hence the shaver.

If you listened to the prophets of Rennlist, you weren’t supposed to pay any ADM by now, and you could have selected any 911 trim leve for MSRP or less.

We've seen pics of .2 interior with nubbin in tact... I think the nubbin is here to stay. Main interior change will be full digital dash based on spy pics.

I’m team nubbin.
