After weeks of enviously watching all the beautiful T deliveries here, I've finally gotten mine! I think it's the second T in Austin, Texas.
Having had a 997.2, 986 S 550 Spyder Edition, and most recently, a Taycan 4S, the best thing about the 992 is its familiarity. A modern iPhone or Android user can immediately see a connection back to an iPhone (2008) or Nexus One (2010), respectively. And ditto for this 992 T, which feels like a 991 but much much more modern than the 997.2 I had. It has the same infotainment and creature comforts as the Taycan but with the tactile and auditory feedback of a 911 -- exactly what I was looking for! So besides the bath I took on my Taycan trade-in, the 992 has been wonderful! Well, at least for the drive from the dealership back to my home, where it'll stay until my appointment at XPEL in 10 days!
This car is 99.9% perfect. See if you can spot the 0.01% below. 😉
I consider myself a "Deviated stitching enthusiast" now. 😁 The car came with 16 miles, presumably from factory testing, going around the Emden port, and PDI road test at the dealership.

I suspect my car was built late on a Friday afternoon:
I was going to guess the 0.1% imperfection was the amber side marker lights right up until I saw the last picture!
Finally my turn! I'm also very happy that I passed on the SD tail lights. I feel some colors need it but not black. I love the red tail lights.
Finally your car arrived congrats! Can’t wait to read more of your reviews later. About the tail lights I do agree red and black work great together. But since you clearly went for the black/white look I think it would look amazing if you went for the exclusive lights and darkening the reflector. You can always change this in the future.
Just can’t believe you did not make a picture of the BOSE logo after all these months of hatred on the forum !

Its very simple. Every country has its own regulations and options as standard. Some countries don’t have the regular seats just the sport seats. Some countries have standard Bose. Some countries always have the leather interior. In UK there are many things standard that are not in other countries. It’s with many brands, not only Porsche.
Ha! You made me famous @ECNJ thanks for a little disguise
I admire your production skills, however, with my accent I would do better JB villain than 007. I think @Barkat03 or @NewTo911’s will be better Bond… if we can only get them on film
Sounds a great trip @Pivot and a route similar to our intended in September, was it Tuscany you’re heading?
Hey, @NewTo911’s, I spend a spooky night at Castello Montebenichi
Good recovery at the Villa Nemora
next going to PoloClub for few nights and riding out to see Palio Di Siena. 700 years old horse race through the town of Siena, bare-back race with no fixed rules, I am told all riders get paid off in one form or another. Sort of first ever (Siena or Monaco) Grand Prix.

This might have been true except I definitely was born and bred in Suffolk. Would be the first Bond with a rural accent. 🤣

@Pivot pictures look great. We booked our tunnel yesterday, leave on the 3rd September heading for Bologna as a first stop. Can’t wait to get the T into Europe to enjoy those great roads.

@Macboy You may well be right about it being a standard feature in Mexico?!
In the UK Bose is standard on Turbo S etc and they all got it even during the microchip shortage.
But even now there are warnings on the UK configurator..

Thanks you my man. I didn't have a lot of time to take pics or drive the car because the shop doing my post-delivery work is closed on weekends and they opened just for me to be able to drop off the car. More extensive reviews and pics coming. I really like the SD tail lights and had them originally on my build but I'm already going with a monochrome theme and felt a bit color works. I took a pic of the Bose but didn't add it specifically to prevent jerk off comments. As you can see, mentioning it alone was enough. Haha!

Thank you. I debated both T package interior colors but neither of them worked for me. I wished they had more color options like the previous gen but had to spec it this way to get what I wanted. It wasn't cheap and it seems foolish to pay for color deviation which has zero cost to Porsche but in the end, I'm very, very happy.
Digging ur pics. Last time I was in Rome, rented car and drove from Rome to Firenze. I enjoyed Firenze more than Rome. Stayed in Tuscany resorts along the way. Had some great cuisines and wine. Loved it there. post more pics from ur holiday!

Congrats! This T and color is perfect to roll around in Austin. I really digs the blue stitching (like it more than yellow on blue car…just my opinion…haters will hate, ha).
