992 Carrera T Club
I haven't been on here in a while. There's a 992 T Club? And it started 2.5 years ago, well in advance of the announcement let alone delivery of the first Ts. Hmm?

I don’t find it strange at all, and the fact that the 992T was released and is rather popular has borne out my expectations.
The title of the thread was changed once serious deliveries started occurring, by one of the moderators. I would have labeled it rather differently, but it was not my call to make.

If you keep paging down beyond this post of mine you’ll come to the last posts in 2019 of the 991.2 gen T’s.
Amusing to see them bitching about the base stereo 🤣

Looking at a couple of them. Depends on what we can get. One has been unavailable for almost 1 year due to chip shortage and high demand. 4 channels. Compact design to hide in dash. Power rating will be higher than factory. My separate sub has 400 watt built in amp….self-contained. It’s already installed. Bass quality is better than Burmester (I recently heard it at Porsha dealer). Also, adding a processor (its small also in-dash) to fine tune everything.

Just so happens I got suckered by Spotify in to buying my very first vinyl record today, well not even buying, pre-ordering, apparently everything needs to be pre-ordered these days…
Got any recommendations for a nice vinyl turn table with decent speakers that I won’t have to sell a kidney or cancel my T order for? (Only none T related question, I promise haha)

We’re not 1 dimensional beings. Lots of interests makes life more engaging like the MT T eh? Ha, with off topics I’ll try to throw in T analogies. So, a vinyl is like a T with its raw characteristics…..e.g. hearing some natural vinyl scratch noises are like hearing burbles from my T exhaust. LoL. Since it’s your first vinyl, I’d recommend a turntable/speakers package like the ones Audio Technica makes starting around $500. I prefer direct drive vs. belt drive. Folks complain that speed can be off sometimes with belt drive ones. If u get a direct drive with a pitch control, u can change the RPMs to any song to ur liking.

Nice, we got in yesterday and wandered over there around 1430. Wonder if we saw you out there, it was definitely coming down. Looked like a lot of fun still! I should’ve PMd you to see if you guys were still in the area. Hope you had a fun drive home, we are staying in town until Saturday and then heading north to MN.

@dassArse Ha, something tells me u used to DJ, rap, b-boy, beat box, or etc. for some reason. U have to share. Sure, I’ll hook up my 1200s on the T rear shelf and throw down some beats at Bear Mountain. Well, ok maybe just let folks hear my 10 inch sub added for the bass.
My audio guy and I tested the T system and learned that the stock speakers can handle more power. Connected a cheap pioneer amp to test and all speakers sounded better. However, Due to chip shortage, we’re delayed getting the amp I really want. Once we get it, we plan on driving the stock speakers first with a high quality amp and replace only the necessary speakers to keep costs down. The 2 easiest ones are located behind the front seats. As mentioned, the sub is in for the bass coverage. Getting there to what I hoped for overall in sound + budget. BTW, it’s all 100% reversible/removable without a trace if desired. He used a custom harness. No wires cut.

I've been following for some time now, and stoked to say that July 5th I'll be finally taking delivery of my IGM 911 T on July 5th at PEC ATL!!! Already have some minor cosmetic mods at home waiting to install. I'll take pics at PEC ATL, then share my T after my mods are done over the weekend! Looks like I'm the only one so far that went for Lava Orange deviated stitching! My build is fairly loaded with options, so I'm sure I'll get critiqued
