The size it what makes it so much more safe and capable. What’s cool is the big 992T isn’t much heavier than the 996.

of course would not need to be safer(bigger) if didnt have to fend off the bloated USDM cars

i know it's been mentioned, but can you guys tell me when you received your VIN in terms of where in the process was the car? Start of production? Finish? etc.

I have to admit that it is pretty impressive they've managed to keep the weight down as much as they have.

Early on before any production began. I found it in the TYD hack.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received my TYD production photos last night. One step closer to the finish line!!

For those of you who opted to keep the Carrera T side decal, did your production photos also not include the decal? I’m wondering if the decal gets added at a later stage. As of today I am scheduled to “complete” production (step 5) on 3/13.

Looks awesome! And yes. The decals will go on after this stage. I don't think you'll see photos with it.

At Stage 2, where it says your production will begin soon. At that point VIN was assigned.

My production date was 03/06. No updates in TYD. Yesterday it updated to production begins 03/09 - FYI

Man, that is gorgeous in a way that the silver 991.2T and other silver 992 Carreras are not. Just stunning.

I asked my SA to request Michelin's on my car. Long shot, I know. The response from Zuffenhausen was that tires are purchased in batches from different manufacturers and you get what you get depending on the batch available at the time your car's wheels are mounted.
