Initial Impressions
- I absolutely love Shark blue with yellow and happy I took the leap of faith. What a killer combo! If anyone is on the fence about it, I say go for it. No regrets!!
- I haven't messed with the settings much but the steering feels lighter than my 981 2.7L Cayman PDK. Other than that, this is obviously a leaps and bounds upgrade.
-My SA told me the car is broken in from the factory but I'm going easy on it for the first 1000 miles
-I put trac wrap on the front until my PPF appt. This can take 30 mins or so and it's helpful to have others with you for this.
-This is my first manual transmission car. I drove my friends mustang and another friends 996. Other than that, I watched youtube videos. I stalled about 5-7 times on the way home (about 100 miles). Took me two days but I feel really comfortable with the transmission and I LOVE this car.

Love that you took a leap and got the Manual! Strong work!

Congrats! I remember u. The fella that messaged me being a bit concerned about getting MT. Glad to hear u love it. In not much time I’m sure you’ll love having the MT. Man, that color is really popular, ha. Looks great.
In the spirit of @tourenwagen posting vid of his T making exhaust noises and July 4th fireworks, here’s a vid of my T making bass noises. Quality and volume of bass will totally depend on your player. On the phone, you’ll hear nothing. Main thing to notice is how my T shakes with the Bass rocking, ha.

Send your SA a message asking him what ship it's on then follow it on a ship tracking site. TYD is not accurate
You can find which ship by looking at the code inside your Track Your Dream.
1. Open Chrome Developer Tools (open the Chrome Menu in the upper-right-hand corner of the browser window and select More Tools > Developer Tools. You can also use Option + ⌘ + J (on macOS), or Shift + CTRL + J (on Windows/Linux)).
2. Go to the Network tab in Chrome Developer Tools
3. Load the Track Your Dream page for your car
4. Look for the file that's named after your commission number (USMGxxxxxx, for a US market car)
5. Click on the Response tab to the right of the column showing the files
6. Browse through the JSON code until you find "ident" : "IMO_xxxxxxxxx". That's the marine vessel identification number. Copy it / make a note of it.
7. Search on Google for that vessel identifier, and it should take you to the ship tracking page on vesselfinder.com or marinetraffic.com
8. Happy tracking!
Wow, Your T looks great, the Shark Blue with the blue seat belts and Speed Blue stitching look great. I have a Shark Blue with the same interior of yours on order. Scheduled to be built in mid July.. I was looking for some pics, wondering how the Shark blue and speed blue compare. From the pics it looks like the are basically the same color.........Thanks for the Pics.....
Here is how Speed Blue stitching compares to the Shark Blue seat belt. Speed Blue seems a bit muted, but it's possible that's also from the material difference in thread / yarn versus seat belt webbing. The 911 headrest embroidery, shift boot stitching, and steering wheel rim stitching are also in Speed Blue.
This combination goes great with Shark Blue interior inlays, if you're good with not-subtle. Cain Bochter at PCNA Exclusive Manufaktur in Atlanta had recommended this combination to me, and I love it!
Quick vid of the JCR exhaust from the inside of the car. I set up a whole mic system but it didnt work so this is the go-pro mic with windows cracked. New video coming soon.
JCR valved center, stock cats, valves fully open. 7k RPM(ish) at beginning and end. I advise watching with headphones or speakers with a bit of bass because that's close to the real sound.

Or you could do as I said since he's making a living off your business.IOS doesn't work with this info.
As someone who ordered the CF roof on a Rubystar car, I have to disagree... The contrast of the roof in person is so beautiful... I know that a number of Cayenne Trubo GT owners were complaining about delamination of the CF... but I don't believe that the 911 specific CF roof has had issue with this. I plan to have my car fully PPF'd as soon as it gets off the boat from Germany, and as long as you care for it properly, it shouldn't be an issue.
It really does look beautiful in person, and even though its only a 30%/5lb weight reduction, I think its cool to know you made your T even just a little bit lighter/better in that sense.
