So far, I can't tell it's there during street driving. Only during u turns
probably because it doesn’t kick in until high speed turning. I don’t think it does anything between 20-60 mph. I wonder how much it would decrease a lap time? My guess is minimal but since I’m not tracking mine its a no for me. Easy decision. I applied the money I saved not getting RWS to the very essential leather/ painted hardback seats.
Same, hoping to get on the Conductor to Baltimore. Fingers crossed we make it.
Are you going to paint/install the aero yourself?
The install looks pretty straightforward and I’ll be doing it but having a pro paint it. Was considering buying a cheap paint gun though. I could easily be talked into painting it. Worse case I guess someone would have to fix my botched job. Anyone here ever paint their own car? …..not with a brush.
It's an eccentricity. I paid $11k for what amounts to splashes of color and a bit more leather. Utterly stupid in this very objective context. Reasonable in the context of creating the cockpit I want to spend time in. Kudos to Porsche for convincing people intelligent enough to have six figures to spend on cars to pay thousands of dollars for something that costs them zero (dials, seatbelts, stitching). I am a shareholder.
I went wild on the red. Dials, stitching, interior trim, belts, leather shells with red centers. Topped it off with the fire extinguisher. Of course the outside of the car too. I always wanted a red 911 and I got all the red they would give me

Hope you have it done prior to September meet-up. For selfish reasons of course, so I can get a breakdown of your experience haha
My main regret on my T was adding back the rear seats. I think the rear seat delete was a special option and I kick myself a bit for trying to be pragmatic and adding it back in. That being said, Ive used the rear seats a few times to go out with friends and it really is great to be able to share the T with more than 1 person at a time.
Besides that, I would have liked to add a bit more color to the interior. I have matching shark blue belts but I think blue stitching would have added more color to my view while driving. I’m considering eventually swapping out the gloss black in the dash for brushed aluminum.
Well the Carrera T is supposed to be an instant classic and collectible vs the S and GTS. You could probably just get on the list and then straight trade when you get your allocation.
Finally picked up storm trooper. What a journey it has been. Still getting used to the idea that it’s mine and I can drive it whenever I want. I didn’t grow up with means or even know people with means for a 911, so this is pretty special for me. The American Dream is still alive!
I know what some of you are thinking. Yes, my build did have decal delete and yes the factory obliged even though my build was in early May. I was hoping, like many of you, that they just disregarded my choice, but that wasn’t the case. I may have to spend money to add it!
For those speccing your T, you may want to keep the decal. You can always decide to remove it later.
I’m a been thinking about adding black stone guards. Thoughts?
See you guys 9/10 at Bear Mountain!
I guess mine is Darth Vader One 3 weeks old 911 T Darth Vader
