THANK YOU THAN YOU THANK YOU!!! I've been wondering how to make those exact changes! I hated that NAV is in that left side menu when I never use the car's NAV. Now I can get directly to Android Auto and also to Climate Control to turn off the AC compressor in only two taps rather than three. (Which is still more taps than a physical button! argh! (or I can say "Hey, Porsche. Turn off my air conditioning" and it turns the compressor off. It's just hard to do that with the windows down.)
I have always loved the painted center tunnel on the 997's. I think its very tasteful if you want a splash of color. I have seen the painted vents etc and felt like it was a little much. For me with the 992 I think that other the GT silver the painted trim pieces are a little too much color but understand why someone might like it. I ordered my python green with the lizard green carrera T package with both tach and clock with lizard green so I do love to have some tie in with the outside. Honestly, I love it when someone decides to step out a little and make it theirs. It would be so boring if we all were driving the same looking cars. For the life of me I cannot see why carmine red has not been ordered more than it has I think that is a nice subtle color that compliments the lines on the T. I have owned more guards red Porsches than I can comment on and of course love it but Carmine red reminds me more of polo red which is such a cool color on vintage Porsches.

Short anecdote: was driving last week on the autobahn, third lane, came behind a SUV, after a while, seeing that despite having room on the right, he will not change lanes to let me by, I flash him once (you are allowed to do that, to show your intent to overtake, but only once and only from a safe distance behind), nothing.
Behind me, a tuned Seat/Cupra break (think Golf R on steroids). As the SUV guy keeps hogging the lane, the Seat overtakes us on the right, start flashing from only 2-3 meters behind the SUV until it makes him change the lane, lets me by and then joins behind me
Now that's above the so called "Überholprestige" (overtaking prestige - your car looks powerful enough that when approaching other cars on the autobahn, they will make room and let you by, immediately). The T has cars that would clear the road for them, pushing other cars aside
Frustrating indeed, though I've yet to personally witness someone passing on the right on the Autobahn. I do have a memorable moment a few years back in a rented Targa 4 GTS. I was doing a speed run and caught up to some guys on racing bikes. One pulled back and got next to me and waved me forward with a gesture suggesting GO GO GO GO GO !!!!! I stepped on it and he got close behind me to enjoy me clearing the air for him while he drafted in the Targa's slipstream.
