I can’t believe it but my T is finally on its way!!! Why a vehicle with only 2 options on it took so long is beyond me, but my wife and I are very excited that we will be cruising around in the T shortly. Also getting a bit paranoid about purchasing a vehicle at this price point as I am nowhere near as financially secure as many here are.. I guess this is the time in my life for questionable financial decisions and just enjoy owning a special car and being able to share these times with my lovely and extremely supportive wife. I will have to post a few pics when it arrives and again, thank you to all of the fantastic individuals who helped me at the beginning of this process. This is my first brand new Porsche and only my second, with the other being a long gone 1994 968 cab.. This truly is a great place with so many wonderful people United in their love for Porsche. Wishing everyone here a fantastic day and great driving weather! 👍🏻
We have all been there I bought used tires for my Volkswagen Karmann Ghia years ago . So it’s even better when you can afford a 911 brand new one doesn’t matter on your options it’s a 911 enjoy !! Congrats !! My 911 t is just few weeks old . Bought from Porsche dealer on the lot original buyer never purchased it . I’m so happy !!

Ha, I can’t lie. I had an early deposit on C8 also until I learned about the details later. Conceptually, a mid-engine Vette had my attention. If they only made it better looking, Manual, smaller and more nimble, better quality, aluminum body, thinner glass, etc. Wait……I’m describing my T. Never mind.
also here is stock 992 always beating a C8 many many videos

@Macboy For somebody who’s native language is Dutch (maybe Flemish?) you speak better English with a better accent than I do.
Ik moet je hiermee feliciteren👍

I think we are going to be boat mates! mine is scheduled to leave 6/23 and arrive mid July to dealer. I know that many here of been successful at tracking the boat. Let me know if you have any idea what boat its on when it comes time. I am planning on going to the event at Bear Mountain from Columbus, Ohio.

Are people still ordering the T? And if so, have they confirmed if model year 2024? The website doesn't list the model year even when you build the car.

Anyone else have a T scheduled for production start next week?
Mine is a 2024 and I think I might have hit the first day of MY switchover from 2023 (production starts on the 20th).
edit: poster above, my car is 2024 (I was able to order Bose, and got a healthy price increase)

It looks like production switched to MY24 a week or so ago. And people are definitely ordering them, lots of them. Based on what I've seen the 992 waring room here, it feels like every third 911 ordered is a T.

The best 2 weeks of my life so far have come to an end. Car returned, and flight home from Europe underway. A photo timeline below (Not exactly in order) to share a little bit of the journey. Will do a more specific Euro Delivery post on that thread, but wanted to share the pictures and memories with this group... It was sunny and 80 degrees every single day. of my trip, I managed 1250 Miles across 7 countries... My delivery specialist advised just 400-500 miles of break-in period under 4500rpm and then told me to RIP it after I made it 500 miles... So I got about 750 miles of pure joy and screaming engine sound on the best driving roads in the world. I saw landmarks such as neuschwanstein castle, RUF factory, Stelvio Pass (and many others), Black Forrest, Leipzig and Stuttgart factory tours, incredible old towns, beautiful country sides and 180mph on the autobahn! The Car was flawless and I love every color and option choice that I made. It made it through the entire trip without incident or a single rock chip and I will be thrilled to drop it off for PPF once its home.
THE COLOR is AWESOME in Person. The amount of people who RAN down the road to take pictures of the car was hilarious. Germans, Austrians, Swiss... Every single country I was in I had people clapping and smiling and taking pictures as I drove through towns/cities. In sunlight it is very very bright pink/purple, and in cloudy weather the purple really pops. I have never had so many people take my picture or seen so many people of all ages react to a car. The attention was a little overwhelming, but It clearly brought joy to peoples faces, so thats all that matters.
A little photo edit to make it pop... but in some sunlight the car really does look this purple. The color changes so much and I am SO glad I went with it!!
Carrera Cafe in Leipzig... I have to say, the Leipzig facility blew me away and to be honest, it was a far superior facility and experience to Stuttgart. They have so much space here and it is brand new and beautiful... plus they have a test track! Highly recommend people seek out Leipzig on their next trip to Germany. (This factory tour was way more involved too... they allowed us to see everything, whereas the 911 factory tour was pretty limited)
Even next to a 3RS she stands her ground in Rubystar
Movie buffs will recognize these next few photos as the filming location of Goldfinger (The famous scene of him looking down the hill at the yellow/gold Rolls Royce)
Stelvio... no other words needed
Goldfinger hillside from the bottom
Nuremburg Parking garage... They raised the car up and out of the way from anyone else which was awesome.
RUF Factory Pilgrimage
Yellow Bird
Austria/Germany Border
Back to where it all started in Zuffenhausen
Dropping her off at Sindelfingen... Sal there was the nicest guy!
The OG
ONE OF MY FAVORITE PICTURES FROM THE TRIP... The car community in Europe was incredible. Absolute respect from every generation/age, and people enjoying the automotive spirit in every kind of car. The Porsche guys were wonderful, but the community is so much larger, and you can learn some pretty great stories if you just go up and talk to people. This group had over 175 cars traveling the stelvio pass together on their way to southern Italy.
I have a lot more to say about how fantastic the car and trip was, but haven't collected all my thoughts yet. Will share more soon
EDIT*
Adding one more I forgot... Matching shorts

@ECNJ, so I'm doing my morning "992 Carrera T" YouTube scavenger hunt and I came across one of your videos (
)
The first photo in the roll is the new Porsche crest. Is that on your car? or did you grab the photo from the web?
