Wow really? Why so much? UK equivalent in euros starts at 111.500 EUR.

Especially as Amsterdam is practically a Driver and 7-iron from where I am… Haha :-)

Netherlands and Danmark were most expensive in Europe. Taxes etc etc. Let’s not go into that discussion. But maybe you will now understand why US people and UK are like children to us sometimes when we hear them complaining about some $1200 budget limits

UK it's probably the cheapest market in Europe, and Netherlands is one of the particularly expensive ones.
I'm in Germany, I will get my Carrera T next Friday, and the starting point here is 123.845 EUR.

Is it that difficult to cross border and buy in adjacent countries? Or do dealers (or Porsche) just stop that happening?
Surely they couldn’t stop someone from buying a used / approved with delivery miles from Germany which would probably still be cheaper even if there was a premium?
PS Not sure about being like children to you though! :-) I haven’t once moaned and just built it how I wanted! Admittedly a carbon roof for £2,500 was a no brainer! :-)

Currency fluctuation… cars are not priced on market-to-market basis, like the commodities, yet.

I love the driver + 7-iron distance unit of measure :-)

The price differences are mostly related with taxes, and you will need to pay taxes when registering in your own country. You can get some savings, but nothing spectacular.

:-) it’s globally understood!

Agreed on the currency fluctuations, but GBP to EUR hasn’t fluctuated by that much in recent years and until some fools decided Brexit was a good idea (personal opinion and no debate desired!) it was practically and literally a neighbour.

Also doesn’t explain level of Netherlands / Germany and most other Euro countries disparity.

True, I would let the sleeping dogs lie… for a change we pay less for a car, until the arbitrage disappears.

That explains a lot and really puts things in perspective. We are spoiled in the USA. Far less taxes. Far cheaper Porsches. Cheaper gasoline. Yet Americans complain when gas is $4/gallon 😂

Europe (generally) gets hit with taxes, USA gets hit with taxes and high medical bills

I just arrived at the dealer. I am literally drewling over the floor. My issue is when seeing a car in real life I want that one. I was sure about my GR. And probably still am. But my first feeling was: wooooow should have ordered this racing yellow one.

Especially totally blown away by the high gloss parts. I would never never order this myself but seeing it in real life contrasting this racing yellow paint made me doubt my pants off.

Another thing that blew me away was the contrast stitching in yellow. Man I was sure I wanted the black look but seeing this in real life completely blew me away as well. I just lost my mind. I have always loved yellow details and stitching so this came hard.

The 911 logo in contrast stichting is CRAZY !

Unfortunately the car stood next to window and the back ground was white on the inside walls so some of the pictures will not be the best quality but you surely will not blame me for it.

It’s a pretty long drive back home where I will post all the pictures. I just wanted to show you these dealer favored picked Rennlist special featuring the T-ethos at best:
