Anyone else seeing an alleged 5-day production period in TYD? Mine now shows production start date 3/5 (was 3/10) and finish date 3/10 (was 3/17) which doesn't make sense since it should apparently be a 7-day process.

This makes me so happy... Seeing as you and I have almost the SAME spec, I hope I am as lucky as you are with my tire fate... Just 1 more week!!!

Nice score on the tires. It does seem completely random.

I think there is quite a bit of leeway. Mine started production on 2/17 an completed on 2/21. The 18th an 19th were also Saturday and Sunday.

Mine went from a 3/3 start and 3/10 finish to now showing as 3/3 start and 3/9 finish... Not sure why they would adjust a single day earlier, but it means a Thursday build finish instead of a Friday, so im happy about it

You can always add lizard pinstripes outside if you want to kick it up a notch. Maybe even lizard calipers. That combo is what my wife wanted me to do. My OCD just couldn't handle it

I’ve still completely lost the ability to access this page. Such a bummer as I can’t see the projected dates to manage my
order prior to lock or any of those things.

Default Ice Grey is Pearlescent

I was able to view Ice Grey Metallic in person and from a few paces back I LOVED it! But closer up the paint has a pearlescent quality like my mother in law’s pearl white Cadillac from certain angles. It’s actually a beautiful color and is much better in person than in photos. But for me I was worried about the pearl effect on the T since it’s supposed to be a back to basics car. I felt the same seeing the carbon roof in person. It’s stunning! But it’s very glossy and for me I thought it was a little flashy. If it had been a matte finish, or offered more weight savings, I would have ticked the box. Like a previous commenter, I usually wear a vintage watch or no watch at all (mine’s a vintage submariner), and I also have a burgundy 912 and wear only simple navy blue suits to work. I think it just depends on personal style.

I was also a lucky Michelin recipient. Production on my Shark Blue T wraps up tomorrow.

@DHinkle - looking good in Shark Blue! What interior did you go with?

Thank you! It’s a bare bones build. The only interior options are Shark belts and a race-tex steering wheel.

Almost every day my dates change around. My freeze date has already past on 2/15 but now has moved to 2/19. Complete date started at 3/13, went to 3/10 and now is at 3/15. I guess planning logistics are in constant flux.
