Can't wait!
Congrats on the order!
Wow! Base Black, and base Carrera S wheels and still got it up over $150K... impressive haha
Love the black on black with all the yellow options and stitching... will be a really cool color combo.
Ive owned 2 black P cars, one in the base black and one in the metallic black... Please consider stepping up to the metallic, it holds up soooo much better compared to the base color (unless you plan to do a full car wrap).

Just out of curiosity, Where will this T be located?

I second upgrading to metallic black. Have had both and base black looked great, but was swirl and chip city.

Thanks for the feedback! Always appreciated!

Yeah I started just trying to find a C2 or C2S allocation for months and never got past an 18mo wait finally lucked into a T allocation. I love the titanium wheels/mirrors/details and the side decals of the T. Glad I landed on the T for dream car. Color combo matches my company colors so I wanted what I wanted and the price gets up there!

I had the same thoughts on the Black but you guessed it. Plan on PPF the entire car in a Matte finish immediately after taking ownership. I was skeptical about the metallic black look with a Matte PPF.

Located outside STL, MO

If you're going to be going PPF, metallic isn't necessary. Especially if matte PPF. Looking forward to seeing photos when it is all set!

This is where I'm at - found a few dealers asking for ADM on the 992T... but the whole point of this car is it's supposed to be the more budget-accessible option

Don't any of you guys in the US have 5 phases of construction?
In the UK there are 5 phases with phase 2 being the Porsche Experience Day, a day at Silverstone Race circuit and the option to try all different 911's with an instructor and then alone.
Only three "Phases" in Germany. 1 to 3.
The invitation for the Experience Day is sent separately. Usually Hockenheim.

Nice build, no expense spared! No SD Side Skirts though on an otherwise Full SD car? One other thing, I've heard the standard interior trim in black isn't as nice as the trim in exterior color. Maybe someone can help him with this no cost option.

Do you mean that the base black paint is actually more fragile, or just that it shows imperfections more easily? I used to have a jet black CTS-V and much preferred that black to the diamond metallic black option on that car. To me, the metallic option just never achieved that deep, dark blackness of the flat black. The metallic black was like a cheap LCD TV screen black vs. an OLED or plasma screen black. And I was able to keep the flat black in good shape by never taking it to a car wash, using foam gun, etc.

The base black paint on Porsche will begin to swirl day 1 if not protected with PPF... the base black is just incredibly SOFT paint. It also chips easier from road rash etc because of how soft the paint is. Since he is going to be doing a full wrap, he should just go with the base black, because as you pointed out it is a much blacker color and when wrapped it will look nicer. I believe that Cadillac probably uses a harder paint than Porsche.. The detailer/paint correction shop I use told me Porsche base black is their largest in flow of cars looking for paint correction + future protection.

Interesting, I am in STL. Mar 12 freeze and May 12 delivery. Nice build!

I did my prior Taycan in stealth/matte ppf, base color was volcano gray, and the matte and the metallic do wonderful things in the sun. I'd recommend a metallic paint for a stealth wrap every time over a nonmetallic. The non just ends up looking so flat and so... cheap.
