When it comes to the 992T, should we be talking about the "T-thos" rather than the E-thos?

God bless you,
TT

Just spoke to a dealer who has two allocations (April and May deliveries) but is firm on $10,000 ADM “just because of the limited supply and the amount that these cars are selling for across the country.”

Incredibly frustrating.

Tell him you know of at least 5 people on this board that got theirs for MSRP, me included.

I'm on one list with a 10k ADM but the few allocations they received were already given out. For in-state the ADM includes an additional year of service, PPF and ceramic coat (estimated by them at $6500 value - seems a bit overstated to me). I'm on another list with no ADM, where I am apparently next in line when more allocations come out. Unlikely I'll go ahead with the ADM dealer unless the other one isn't being truthful about where I stand in line. The whole ADM and allocation thing definitely spoils some of the excitement for this car. Same story with other desireable cars right now tho, such as the RS3.

I got asked for an ADM of $6K on a 350 Z convertible in 2004 "y'know, these cars are going for $6,000 over sticker in N.C. right now and so we want the same. I can't guarantee you'll get the color or trim level you've asked for either." I got up and walked out, found the car in Scranton, PA and bought it there for $1K over MSRP, that amount going to the Muscular Dystrophy Association as a donation which was perfectly acceptable to me. I'd never pay an ADM like what some of these Porsche dealers want, that to me is the height of ignorance. Do they really think I'm going to recommend them to a friend? Get service there? Buy another vehicle from them?

Just curious, what part of the country are you in?

at your own risk, no warranty goodwill from manufacturer if you don’t service at a Porsche dealer. Not worth it to save $200/year

I'm at 5 on mine. That's the most I was comfortable with, anything past that couldn't justify it. Much easier number to amortize over the life of ownership.

Slight change of tack...

The TYD phases I've seen on this forum seem to only be 1-4.
Don't any of you guys in the US have 5 phases of construction?
In the UK there are 5 phases with phase 2 being the Porsche Experience Day, a day at Silverstone Race circuit and the option to try all different 911's with an instructor and then alone.

NC / VA.

I told them a number of folks here are securing allocations at MSRP, and that literally every other dealer I’ve spoken with in a 200 mile radius is not asking for ADM.

Unfortunately it’s clear I am not going to make any progress with a dealer who takes this negotiating stance. I’ll keep waiting for an allocation elsewhere at MSRP. I know I’ll be glad I did once I’m sitting behind the wheel, even if it’s many months from now.

Yeah we only get 4 phases in the U.S., there's no Porsche Experience Day and definitely not a Silverstone (or any track) option.

Good afternoon,

I cannot find much information on whether or not the Bucket Seats will be an option in the Carrera T. Would you happen to know anything on this matter?
