ok, I'll play too. I think I am settled on this build:
http://www.porsche-code.com/PPIG56F7
Still debating the Exclusive Design Tailpipes in Silver and my wife is still debating the Python paint, but I think this is it. Most likely won't add CF roof.
Thoughts? Did I miss anything critical to keep the ethos alive?

Thank you. 15k. Based on other reports I have seen on here this particular dealership is asking ADMs across the board for all new cars, 20-30k for S and GTS. I am also in line for a T at the dealership where toph got his allocation but of course no word from them so far.

About that green car: the green press car did not have the orange flashlights and hat the carbon roof. So it must be a different and US spec car!
You were able to save $130.000 but are not able to save $4000 more for leather because it’s that last 4% that will make you go bankrupt? It’s a serious question. Am not trying to be rude or something.

Qualifying a rude comment with “I’m not trying to be rude” doesn’t negate the effect. Could I spend $4k more and get leather - yes, in fact, I could spend $40k more for a GTS, but I (like others here), have chosen to allocate those resources elsewhere.

Thought I’d post this link to the 991.2 T original brochure as it’s mentioned above😊

Happy to make an introduction to the Manager of Westwood that I've worked with for years. They only get what they get for allocations obviously, but if you are having trouble hearing back from an SA there, I'd suggest working directly with the manager who is in charge of managing allocations. Let me know and I can shoot you a private message with details/names/numbers or make an introduction.

I understand for some people spending 130k or 175k in a car is about the same but some of us are sooner in our financial / profesional or businessownership paths that we need to have a budget and respect it.
Cheers

I wish standard interior would just come with a leather dash but I suspect Porsche did that to push people into getting the full leather interior for $$$.

Yeah, my problem with the standard interior is the plastic dash that always within your view. Upgrading it to a full leather give you a leather dash that makes the car feel like a 100K+ car.

When it comes to 'budget cap', that fact that we (or at least me) has a wider sense of the 'toy car' market is a psychology that comes into play. Meaning...at some point getting a T to $150K messes with you as for 'that' money you COULD be into an S (or some other car entirely). Personally, I've had my best total experience when I exercise some restraint, and moreover, recognize that I am continually rewarded by the feeling that I built a 'good value'--a mix of pleasing options and total price--long after the car is delivered.
In building a 'good value', I can actively point to decisions I've made on my recent cars:
In building a 'good value', I can actively point to decisions I've made on my recent cars:
- Spyder--'traded' my desire for CF trim for illuminated door sills. Reasoned the standard brushed aluminum trim looked good enough, and that I'd enjoy seeing the Spyder logo every summer evening.
- CGTS--this car will be driven all year and wanted to enhance the interior experience, so I selected leather covered trim to go with the chalk/black leather interior--therefore, an easy decision to pass on the illuminated sills.

Your report would push me to do the T-interior in green OR to skip the T-package, and instead add the deviated stitching option in a more impactful color--as it's a 'relative value' at an adder of just $1250 above the cost of the T-interior pack--and they will stitch the manual transmission shift boot within the deviated stitching package as well.
