Hey, just so you are aware the PG exterior and LG interior are not a perfect match. Check out the 1:50 second mark here to see the lizard green belts against PG exterior. They were too far apart for me but obviously we all have different tastes.
Yeah Python Green and Lizard Green are two different paint colors and Porsche just doesn't have thread that matches every paint color / they are using paint names for stitching thread but paint and stitching are hard to exactly match anyway. For example Speed Yellow stitching is almost goldish yellow, not really a match for Speed Yellow paint
You would have to get the * Leather Interior in Black with Checkered Sport-Tex Seat Centers* package, right? which is 5k CAD.. + 4k CAD.. o what package do you see at + $1250?
I'm confused, please explain
While at it m here's my build, probably adding LCA, supervisors and mirror console in race tex and sacrificing electric folding mirrors
I was counting on the "cheap" t silver grey package but I wonder now if it's even worth it.
Does anyone with a contact at PECLA that could send some pics?
Locking in Feb 12 but I am away as of te 19th Jan and I want to have that submitted since before leaving.
edit : also adding transport system
He's saying picking black leather + deviated stitching only costs $1250 more than the T interior leather package upcharge from black and you get more/different things in deviated stitch and more colors to choose from
Ok, so I finally got over being butthurt (well, mostly) about no LWBS and signed my order & deposit agreement yesterday. Freeze date is 2/17 with eta at port (Benicia) on 5/5.
I'm 99% settled on Python. Added a couple of racing yellow accents to bring some pop of color to the interior. Already way over what I'd planned to spend so I won't be adding another nickel to this build.

i get it now
comes out to 9k cad. Not in my value proposition. Will stick with cheap T.

I'm hoping that the LG belts are not that bad in person and not in a washed out sunshine pic. Look at the change in shade of the belt from top to bottom.
I guess worst case scenario, we could change the belts to black. The stitching probably looks ok.

They had a PG GTS at my dealer months back and I’m pretty sure they used Mamba Green stitching and it looked very close. Of course that means you’d pay more plus wouldn’t get the 911 on headrest or seatbelts in green and you’d lose the green sportex pattern but would get it added to the steering wheel and stick shift

On GTS cars deviated stitching gets the GTS on the headrests changed to the deviated stitching color. I think the 911 on our headrests will look like the configurator images under the information i for deviated stitching and be in the deviated stitch.
The best example of a python green car with lizard green interior stitching/belts/gauges I have found is this turbo that was for sale. The pictures are still a bit blown out at parts, as cell phone cameras tend to do. Still worth a look for those debating the combo.
Here are the press photos of the T slate grey interior.
Unfortunately, beyond the picture of the sport exhaust button, I didn't take any photos of the interior of the T at PECLA. I have seen the above pictures you shared but I don't think they're representative. I really wanted the T interior but won't get it in PG because I selected Shark Blue paint (that clash would be... epic). However, now I feel very comfortable not selecting the T interior with slate gray as it is very expensive and I do not see the value, considering just how dark the stitching is. Without exaggerating, it is so dark that for the uninformed the stitching color seems the same as the leather. The interior broadly on the T (without the PG stitching) is very dark, given the gloss black trim. I am excited for the glass roof and shark blue seatbelts I selected as I think they'll go far in brightening the interior. I wish the T package came with chalk stitching instead.
Separately, at Porsche South Bay, there was a 992 GT3 with blue stitching. This was helpful for me as I considered upgrading to blue stitching. However, for the cost, I decided against it as even the blue stitching was too subtle against the black leather, unlike 911s I've seen with yellow or red deviated stitching that really pops.
Baller build on your T. I love Python and it being the T launch color makes your car that much more special.
I like the yellow interior pops. Maybe if you get serious about tracking it throw a yellow half cage in it. I think it would be very unique.
Join us in extended gas tank gang and pop over that $140k mark
I'd previously settled on Guards but as some other folks mentioned, while a classic Porsche color, lots of 911s in GR already.
Thank you! Previous new cars have all been in-transit by the time I've attached my name so I'm grateful to be able to spec this one myself. Trying to add little items, personal touches without making it too personal. I'm hoping they work in the car. Have always liked yellow interior touches on blue and green cars. Really wish they offered the yellow 12 o'clock marker on the steering wheel though like with GT4 and others.
Appreciate the reminder on the Extended Range Fuel Tank. The arguments for ERFT mentioned in this thread make sense considering insane fuel prices at any track. I believe Laguna is being resurfaced at the moment so may need to get the T out there this year.
