As that Youtube above states...everyone is different with their tastes. With the 911 there is no wrong or right...just the category you fit into as an enthusiast.
I couldn't buy back a car that I sold and someone else owned/used for a while. But then it sounds like he bought the S used, so what's the difference I guess. That sure is an expensive way to do it.

I think that 992 is listed in the classifieds here.

Thought I’d have a go at the Goodwood Road Racing Club’s Spring Sprint today. Funny old weather. Rain, then greasy then sort of dry. My fasted lap was as it started to rain, a rather eventful first corner had me rather tense for the rest of the lap.
23rd overall out of 100 or so. 98.57secs. Couldn’t beat it on the next (wet lap) and the final drying lap.

I hydroplaned at 90mph in wet mode and was amazed at how well the car handled it. The rear swung out three times before regaining composure.

I and everyone else who got Ruby Star love your decision.
Also, I applaud your boldness, and courage to get the color despite the chance you never saw it in person, or knew with 100% confidence what it would look like, in person. As it is very much love it or hate it color.
also, the configurator unfortunately does not do the true color justice.
I hope you have fun driving the T, and will still feel the same about the color every time you see it.
Everytime I see the Ruby Star I think man what a crazy cool colour. It still blows me away every day!

@LuckyP well done. Considering the weather, it makes sense that the only three cars that beat you in your category were AWD. What mode where you in?

Alas, I feel you may have scrolled down only as far as the timed practice. The rest of the runs as follows:
Timed Practice - 99.38sec 4th in class, 8th overall - track drying - Sport Plus
First Timed Run - 98.57sec 5th class, 13th overall - dry track, rain on the screen - Sport Plus (video of this lap earlier)
Second Timed Run - 111.59sec!! 7th class, 16th overall - wet track, rain on screen - Wet Mode (sliding everywhere!!)
Third Timed Run - 99.03sec 7th class, 20th overall - Drying track, no rain - Sport Plus (mojo had packed up and gone home before I got out on track!!!)
All in all - lots more in the car - probably 5secs with good driver. Plenty more to find in me. Driver training I think next and some big run off to explore what happens when it lets go, under load at 70-90mph on the turn.
It’s all about the driver, but happy to have kept one of the two GT3 at close distance ahead and beat the rest of the Porsche folk, some in higher powered more track focused machines.
Interesting experiment. 6/10.

Apologies for the poor images; weather hasn't cooperated Looks great and I couldn't be happier.
Very pleased I upgraded to full leather and went with the green interior despite a lot of forum naysayers
Happy motoring T mates!

If you watch the video, you would discover that he sold it back to his selling dealer. Edit: Which is a wise choice with most dealers low on 992 inventory. Word on the street is he did not take a severe depreciation hit either.
