And we all know these polls are worthless. The responses rarely mirror reality...just look at the color poll.

First post here A friend of mine shared a secret of rapid break in (who wants to wait that long). Turn on and immediately on a cold engine floor it and wait until it gets proper operating temperature constantly on highest rpm. It goes fast since it's revving like crazy. Just did in my brand new T. There were some strange noises but now are gone, something is dripping from the engine but a few drops won't kill nobody. It's just done properly and that what matters. Scared? Just kidding But the PSE sounds lovely and it's much louder than in standard mode. Like 60% to 100%, in my previous 991.1 GTS it was like 90% to ...120% (too much). A stripper car i would say. Clear tail lights, Spyders, almost all alcantara options, rv camera, folding mirrors. that's all.

Just arrived A1 black with monochrome taillights, to be completly PPF'd. No side decals on arrival. Spyders with michelins

Base interior with alcantara options

Red seatbelt with whole black interior, no stitchings etc.

Rear seats added

Was close to my dealer to check her out. Turned out she was in the best place to visit her: getting her PPF. What an unplanned nice surprise! And she now has the right tires as well.

The Configurator-selected Exclusive Manufaktur options on my build -- Deviated Stitching, Personalized Door Sills, Exclusive Tail Lights, etc. -- totaling $6490 do not count towards the $10K. 🤦
This is really helpful insight, thank you. Does that mean CXX is theoretically possible for the T? I would have really liked a colored interior with tartan inserts on the 18 ways, but I didn’t even consider asking about CXX. It’s interesting that selection of the Exclusive Manufaktur options don’t count toward that CXX threshold. I wonder if you would have had to go with a full CXX interior (and the surely exorbitant pricing associated with it) to receive the logo on the center console.

Yup, I'm hoping with more cars arriving that might mean they can start releasing cars to dealers, but for now it seems reaching step 9 does not mean you are home free unfortunately. The worst is of course the dealer has no information as to why the delay.

Bold move taking it off-roading already...

What happens with the clear protection film from the "hips"/wide rear fenders? Do you keep them under, over PPF...or not at all?

The factory film is removed. It's thin and not nearly as good as PPF. Plus, when done, a full PPF is nearly invisible.

Anyone else delighted that our brake calipers come painted black (or charcoal grey) as standard? They don’t clash with any exterior paint and, at least in my case, it saves me $900 as I would otherwise have optioned 1LR to have them painted high gloss black. Nothing against the bright red or bright yellow, but just don’t need those colors peeking through from behind my wheels.

Yup, I never liked red calipers. Both my C63 I went for the package that included silver calipers instead of red. Another way the T speaks to me.

Thank you.

I have full PPF on one of my cars, since 2018. They've removed the factory protection film and there is a stone chip that went right through Xpel. The factory installed film may be "thin", but it's from denser material than Xpel.
One of the companies I have spoken with is adding those back on top of the PPF.

Pick up is next week for me.
If everything goes well, it might go (after having it for the weekend to enjoy) to PPF+ceramic. The car is already there, but I wanted to wait until pick up too what I get at the tire lottery.
First "track day" is already planned, but I might do a few sightseeing laps of Nordschleife until then.

I'm loving your interior pics. It's great to see the base checkered seat inserts up close with enough resolution. It's perfect and exactly what I wanted. So glad I didn't opt for the T package or ventilated seats!
