Oh yes I am a big silver wheels lover as well. Just silver on silver was never my combo.

How long did it take you to get past the point where you can really rev it? I live in a downtown area as well, but definitely will be cruising as much as possible.

RAS I feel a bit differently about. I’ve driven a 992 C2S with RAS on track and it was a noticeable difference, and (I thought) an improvement. On the street I could not tell the difference, but the track was a different story. As a result, my opinion is that if I had to spec my car over again, now that I’m getting more into track days, I would add RAS. For a purely street driven car though I would save my money.
I appreciate the insight! I know I will track it at some point. I am debating on USA Porsche delivery experience. But I think based on feedback I am going to remove the FAL and keep RAS. I rather have the performance-based option vs I may or may not need option. Where I live (Dallas/Houston) is relatively flat.

I agree! I have learned more in this room and on YT then I did at the Porsche Dealership. My SA is cool, but I have seen on social media the lengths that some P dealerships go to make their customers feel special. I am hoping the closer I get to mine I get that same feeling and treatment. I may do Porsche Experience Delivery and all but guarantee that day will be a special day. (hopefully)

Great to see people getting their cars.
My delivery date arranged a few weeks ago with the OPC, is a month away.
But, the app is still only showing stage 3. So no production photos yet.
I am doubtful the car will be with me early March.
However, I have built my own.

And I am very pleased with the color. I find a 3D model gives me a better feel than a configerator image.

The paint brand I used has a lot of standard and PTS colors, can share details if somebody else fancies a go.

I’m in Dallas and my M5 front lip scrapes literally all the time. I find the roads in Dallas to be atrocious. You can adjust driving style when you know it’s coming but so often I find it comes out of nowhere. But for me the main reason is the driveway at my house, which is extremely challenging regardless of angle taken…so for me, FAL for sure.

Here a combination I saw today which I loved much more than I thought. Winter tyres I assume, but definitely nice. Would not expect silver to go that well with silver.

I love silver too - but something about that photo looks off. Could be the silver wheels, SD rear bumper, painted side skirts, the fender gaps, wheel offsets, winter tires, or just water beading up from the rain. I can't figure it out. While I know it isn't true, that car appears to have no hips.

Oof that’s rough. I took mine to 4500 the first drive leaving the dealership. I haven’t redlined it yet but I’ve taken it to 6k multiple times. At 200 miles. Feels fantastic.

I live in the WNY snow belt town of Hamburg and we usually are well in to winter by now. I took this on my way to ski 2 days ago just south of where I live.

Growing up just 30 mins west of Rochester I can say I’ve felt your pain but of late weather hasn’t been what it use to be back when the blizzard of 72 hit. Nice pic of the HUD. Holiday Valley? ⛷️
