It is not at all surprising that PCNA is rewarding those that held themselves to ethical business practices.

Do you have some figures to back up this sweeping statement ?

Unfortunately I do not, but it has been a non-issue within the southeast for several months and it appears to be a growing non-issue overall within the U.S. As a whole the automotive industry is slowing and that is not unusual given the season.

If you want real stats/figures as to where the auto industry is trending then I suggest subscribing to dealer centric Automotive News, which I am a subscriber of.

I agree about the market. I agree about availability. I agree about the spec. But I also know someone will pay the adm to have one now.

About 20k posts ago, we worked out that the tank is not a weight gain...the fuel is another story.

Default Available model T at $10 k over msrp

I know 6 months ago my T was $20 k over and I offered $10 k over the old list price so it was only $1 k over current Posche configuration price so I bought it and didn’t want to wait months . It was close to what I would have ordered . So this particular one on sale I bet Hoen Porsche would take $5k over never know until you try .

If you heard the Bose system, you'd never let that be a deterring factor.

100%. For those of us who have been in the Porsche world for longer than a cup of coffee, we know that especially near the end of a production run, there will be more than a handful of people willing to pay ADM since landing an early allocation for the new iteration will almost certainly prove brutally difficult.

My budget was really more in the "decently specced base model" range so the T was already a bit of a stretch. But I had to make it work for the manual and all the extra T stuff

California is a different market. NorCal dealers prefer to sell to clients in region and same with SoCal. Many dealers outside of California don’t want to sell out of state and prefer clients closer to their dealership (speaking from first hand experience).

I’ve seen on RL folks get very philosophical about how it should be done. What one has to realize is that the US is made up of many markets with each region facing its own set of challenges and advantages. Note that 1.1M households in California are millionaires (source).

Despite the recent tech layoffs, the amount of tech money is keeping many dealers oversubscribed. Yes ADMs are smaller than before but they still exist. Everyone would love to pay at MSRP, folks aren’t paying higher because they lack common sense or have too much money to throw around.

Hopefully the market in CA gets to MSRP in the near future.

Which is surprising given that the Bose system in my 997.2 is vastly superior to any Harmon Kardon system that I have paid for over at BMW.

Question for the Crew... I have not been able to find a really easy to follow video on youtube (Which Shocked me).... I just purchased the Li-Battery Maintainer from Porsche, and I also got the Clamp attachment, as I understand the 992T does not function with the Cigarette Lighter version.

So here is my question. I have the car in an underground garage for the winter, and I have it under an indoor car cover because they are doing a lot of minor construction projects in my building that have been kicking up tons of concrete dust...
My plan is to connect the trickle charger directly to the battery under the frunk (again because I was told the cigarette function does work on the Li/Rear Axle Steer cars...
How do I go about using the clamp adapter, running the cord out of the hood, latching the hood and locking the car so I can cover fully for the winter?

Mostly looking for photo/video tips on how I attach the clamps, how I route the wire, and how I do so in a way that is safe to latch the hood closed to lock the car and cover it.
The clamps that come directly from Porsche Seem like they might be too large to keep the plastic battery compartment cover in place, unless I'm missing something?

Thank you for any and all help with this.
