Hey, if interested, after we get our cars which will be around the same time. A friend of mine over at BMW of Naples turned me on to an area about 2 hour NE of Naples that has some great roads, with elevation changes and great twisties. South of Sebring and NE of Lake Okeechobee. Never been there but told me some great scenery small towns lunch hangouts good for a Saturday or Sunday afternoon, if interested. Maybe we can get some Porsche weekend drive interest? Wives/girlfriends can be optional, 😁. Unfortunately Naples has nothing like this for us!
Since my T is stuck at JAX port - maybe for a couple of months, I'm thinking of trading in my current car early (2020 Taycan Turbo S). If I do so now, can I still apply the trade value toward the T purchase and benefit from the sales tax savings? I'm in Florida if that matters.
If Taycan second hand values are bombing as quickly there as they are in the UK I’d sell it today!!
Plus, Taycan II is already on the configurator and better looking, longer range, quicker charging etc etc
Taycan II Turbo S acceleration 0-60mph = 2.3secs 😳

Back from the dead and putting out fires last few months
Took that long to catch up from October postings and also grieve the first gouge in the PPF on the hips. Note to self 10mil still ain't enough!
The state of the car pretty much reflects life but hope to get back to obsessing. Alas pics nonetheless pre imminent wash!!! Thank u global warming!

Considering the cost, life span, and aesthetics of the product I am pretty underwhelmed. I think I will be skipping PPF for my 911.

That sucks, but I have had the same experience with the PPF we did on my wife's car. < 3 years and ~14k miles and it has picked up rock chips that have penetrated the PPF and damaged the finish underneath.

Ultimately though getting the car wrapped and replacing it every 5 years is an expensive hassle*. It was suppose to obviate the other expensive hassle of having the finish repaired. The reality for me has been it's just stacked one expensive hassle on top of another.
*With added risk of the finish / trim being damaged during installation removal.

My TYD build advanced again today moving ahead 2 days. I've gone from March 28th to Feb.28th and now Feb.26th end of production and all my shipping dates advanced too.
And...I now have a VIN. Is this normal?

Crazy. My production complete date got pushed back 5 days to Apr 8. Hopefully that is to allow for components for smooth import to US!
Very un normal. You must know someone at the factory.
