Dumb question, but how did you get TYD to show up in the My Porsche app? I can see my order, commission number, delivery date etc on the web. But when I sign in with the same Porsche ID in the iOS app my order isn’t there.

It asks me for a VIN when I try to add a vehicle (which clearly I don’t have yet)

Had my T ceramic coated. Now I've completed 800 miles, I am starting to increase the revs. This car is amazing

Alternatively, since we know that it's a California dealer, could you just call every California Porsche dealer there is and inquire directly for an MSRP with no ADM?
If you run their dealer web service with your auth token, they give you that list in JSON format. Convert it to CSV, and then filter sort in Excel, and you get this list for California.

Just curious.

I have a T build allocation with PTS confirmed at MSRP. Over the past few days, I’ve been having second thoughts about the value of PTS in light of a potential refresh of colors that may come later this year and the fact that I’ve been so back and forth on colors it’s leading to some paralysis on my color choice.
it feels like PTS has been somewhat hard to come by on a T. I’m having some FOMO clouding my decision here.

Any advice?

I think if it was me, I'd stick w/ my original selection of the PTS color which is?? and be happy when my car arrived vs. "I like this color but I LOVED the PTS color I don't have."

My advice is we trade allocations and I will spec the PTS T and then tell you about the process to ease the FOMO.

Just kidding I’m simply too cheap to pay for PTS and would probably considering passing on it much like you are.

Good luck with this tough decision. Maybe as a compromise, skip PTS but at least go with a bolder color like Guards, Carmine, or Rubystar… ?

PTS is an entirely emotional decision. It should be a decision you make because you completely love that specific color and you just roll the cost of it into the total of your car without thinking about how much it costs on its own. If you are trying to place a monetary recoupable value on it, then you are doing it for the wrong reasons. Yes, PTS Ts are incredibly uncommon but the high demand for PTS cars on the secondary market usually resides with the GT car market due to the very limited standard color choices on those and many GT car owners value individuality and being able to stand apart from the other GT cars. There's almost an expectation that some GT cars are PTS. It also depends on the actual color you are choosing. Is it really something that will stand out or is it another shade of flat gray? I would not expect a generous selection in whatever color refresh that may occur. Despite whatever rumors there are, 992.1 is heading into its end of production life whether it be this year or next so Porsche is not going to be dropping a slew of new color options for it. Look at the new generation models of Panamera and Macan EV on the configurator for the color tones that Porsche is moving in the direction of to get an indication of what may possibly be in store in terms of future choices. Porsche keeps adding color tiers to slot in any color that may be interesting so you'll likely be paying extra no matter what unless you select white or black.

Snow melted and the rain washed all of the salt off. Took her out for a run and gave her some giddy up juice. Cruised it at 140 mph for a few miles. Love how planted this car is!

You can always put in the time/do the work, but for some people their time is more valuable than the brokerage fee and/or ADM. For me it's a non-issue, since both of my dealerships have always given me MSRP.

Dude...horseshoes! I tried hard for a PTS allocation but no avail and hence why I went Ruby Star Neo as I wanted a 911 no one else would see often; plus its a killer color!

If it were me my choices in order would be Viola Purple, Signal Yellow, or Mint Green and its worth the $$$.

If PTS: Signal Yellow, forged wheels, buckets, RAS, Bose.

Whomever ordered this, you did an awesome job: Buy used Porsche 911 Carrera T at Porsche Greensboro Minimal options, but the right ones (for me).
