I was offered a GT3 RS, free to configure and no ADM.
But, this means I have to give up my CS and T (garage space and I want only one toy in the future, otherwise they sit untouched for months). Never bonded with the CS, so that part is easy...but I really like the T and more importantly, its/it's manual
Tough one. Really wanting that RS though.
@jpgallo@reddysum a few of us went through the learning curve of finding 7th. Soon enough it'll be second nature. And unless you're concerned about gas mileage or drive long distances well above the speed limit, you'll rarely use it anyway. You can hit top speed on 5th.
Can you tell me the speed at the top of each gear?
I know 1st is 42 at 7.2k rpm
then 2nd is 72 I think
but I am not sure past that
sometimes we rush to buy the hype then meet our legend and are somewhat left flat with our decision. My T comes early first week of January. Coming from ownership of an BMW M Competition will certainly be an adjustment. never can tell till you live with her if you should marry? .

@Vernin In answer to your questions:
First Gear = 42 mph @7,500 rpm
Second Gear = 71 mph @ 7,500 rpm
Third Gear = 103 mph @ 7,500 rpm
Fourth Gear = 138 mph @ 7,500 rpm
Fifth Gear = 174 mph @ 7,500 rpm
Sixth Gear = 182 mph @ 6,608 rpm
Seventh Gear = 182* mph @ 5,186 rpm * claimed
RPM in 7th at 70/80 mph = 1995 /2280
I would actually imagine the top speed in 7th would be slightly less than that obtained in 6th gear
These figures are from the Autocar road test in Issue 6582 Volume 317 / No 12 dated 30th August 2023

That is exactly what I wanted to know! Thank you very very much! I really appreciate it!

@Shortseller It might not feel as fast as a M competition, but will feel I think a lot more interactive from my experience driving a GTS 992 which is clearly faster than a M competition. Just a much more pleasurable car to drive. Was yours an M3/4 or M2 Competition?
@Green_Tea Ok be interested in what you find out? Best Devon Racer.
From the sales manager at our OPC (I expect you know him).
Hi both
All good this end and can happily confirm that your car is definitely coming in Paint To Sample in Mint Green
The order number is B86164
Once the car reaches a certain point behind the scenes (which would likely be at the end of this month) you will receive an email that explains the app process of tracking the build
So, whenever that 2024 PTS deadline was, it looks like we made it.

My M3 F80 Comp had midband torque to die for. If I saw you coming I never got passed unless is was a super car.
I’ve had four BMWs, (1) E90, (1) E92 both manuals. (1) ‘15 M3 F80, manual the other ‘18 M3 F80 DCT Comp. The dealership couldn’t wait to get his hands on that one, it was mid July and he had limited stock of used Porches.
For me the feel of the hydraulic I had in the E series was informative and really made a connection for me to the road. Along came the F series and as everyone did, they went to drive by wire. That along with the looks of the new G series was just too much to bare for this old school BMW fanboy. Now her comes along a drivers car, with feel for the road as I kept reading so I became enticed with the Porsche brand, one I could afford and one that promised ‘a drivers car”. I did test drive a base 911 and was comfortable with the size and cabin, my initial thoughts were positive. I hope the T proves me right? As Audi or Benz were not my cup of tea. Thus Soon to be a Porsche owner! Thank you Devon Racer.

That's brilliant news I am absolutely delighted for you.
You are so lucky to have got a PTS slot almost impossible and many on this thread would have died for one! Not literally but you get the gist?
I would have loved Irish Green personally.
My order number is B70889.
Keep us posted with your progress,
Best Devon Racer.
