I would love to think that was the case. But those speeds are incorrect for a manual transmission
@VarTheVar I very much doubt they are, they are taken from the Autocar road test of a manual car, one of the oldest and most respected car magazines in existence.
They take more care with their figures than most others in the business. But I can not verify personally but have like many relied on this journal for fact.

PS, When I finally get my car I will be able to verify.

Source? I have not read anything to that effect. The only thing shorter is the gear lever. Plus the amount of money to make that happen wouldn't make sense with a parts bin car. Nothing major is bespoke on the T

It was publicised by Porsche in the press releases. References are in this thread . . . few hundreds pages ago
Do I really need to drive all the way down to Mexico and record myself redlining 3rd gear? Or maybe since this is the Carrera T thread, everyone who isn't waiting for their car to arrive can go try it on their own

Happy to do that for you when I bring my car back to Mexico from the US.
logged in to see my production / delivery date got pushed back by 3 months today. Anyone else?
Sounds similar to my experience ordering a Taycan. Hopefully it goes smoother for you, but I guarantee once you see the car in person you’ll forget about how long the wait was 😊

thanks I don't mind waiting. Had to figure out that whole delayed gratification thing to get to this point in the first place. What's a few more months.
I was curious if there was some kind of a parts/production issue causing a wider delay.
