"I'll watch this video later but 911s are for sure the worst-value sports car out there. I'm not after value on a larger scale if I'm spending 150k on a 380hp car with subpar suspension small brakes door rattles and a horrible stereo. The value proposition lies with BMW. Driving experience is over here with our cars"
I think you are missing some facts
The 2023 BMW M4 CSL MSRPs at $139900.00 has 543 hp, 3.0 Inline 6, and 3640 Pounds. Its Record on the Nuremberg ring is 7:18.137
The 2023 Porsche 911 992 Carrera T MSRP is $118800.00 it has 380 hp, a FLAT 6, and 3,254pounds. Its record on the Nuremberg ring would be close to 7:37.90
A car with 163 more horsepower is only 19 seconds faster. The MSRP is $21000 more than the T. Most people are getting their fully spec-out T for less than the starting price of your BMW.
If you were to tune the T to 473 hp, I would get 125.632. Which is only 7 seconds faster than your beloved BMW.
Tune the T to 500 hp I bet it would get 7:21.00 which you can do with these engines, and it will be faster than your car around the Nuremberg ring.
If you have driven a 911 and a similar hp or even 600 hp BMW on the track, you should realize the differences in handling, suspension, and breaking.
The BMW will have more horsepower but that does not matter if you cannot apply it effectively. I mean every time you corner the car rolls like a fat pig.
I can consistently pull 1.8 gs around a turn or even more in a 911.
In the BMWs I drove on Circut De Americas I was lucky to get one 1.2g. Any more and it would break traction.
Let's not forget that BMWs have their fair share of cheapness, plastic that squeaks everywhere when you get in and out, shift in your seat, when you touch the console or your dash.
My T has not had a single problem with rattling, or a horrible stereo. I have the Burmeister which is better than Harman Cardon. The Suspension seems to be enough as the car is only 12 seconds off a BMW.
with this information, I do not think it is proper to say the 911 is the worst-value sports car out there.

Per my dealer the internal ETA is literally just prior to Christmas. As we all know that could be sooner or later, but I am being advised that more than likely later due to the holidays. Not a big deal as winter will more than likely have its grasp on us until mid/late March.

The 911 has a gross profit margin of about 50%…if u really want to think about “value”. But strong margin is because peeps are koo koo about it. Doesn’t matter the color…..they have so much more presence in person than pics. Driving fun factor is through the roof (especially MT). VALUE of my T = priceless!

@N3DXT Hi Davis,
Thanks very helpful I will keep checking the app daily and according to your time line something should appear by the 8th November for me?
I know this sounds stupid but what is via F12 hack? My computer key board has an F12 key?
As explained in my later post my car is now at the Port of Emden I just pray it is not put on a boat within the next 48 hours with Storm Ciaran arriving tonight.
It is going to hit my part of the world very hard I believe from the weather warnings!!
Many thanks, Best Devon Racer.

@Vernin where did you get that ring time for the T? I've looked and never found it. Seems optimistic since the 992 S did that very time. My bet is that the T would be in the range of 7:40-7:45 based on the 7.2 GT3 and GT4 times. Also, to put things in perspective, the 991 GT3RS time is 7:20 and the 992 Turbo is 7:17. 7:12 for a T with a tune is just shy of an impossibility.

you are correct with the 7:12, that is most likey impossible for the T, It was an error in typing out the numbers on my phone. It should read 7.21.00. I believe my previous statement should be fixed, thank you for bringing that to my attention!
I also just looked at this https://www.hagerty.com/media/news/9...erfect-gt-car/ I was looking at this which has a photo of the S and says it can go 7:25, so I thought the T would be around 7:30.

I looked up the wrong S Time, the 991 S is close to what the T would get which is 7:37.90.

The 992 GTS record is 7:24. A T with PDK, RAS and a tune could get close to that time. It could beat it with Cup2s and suspension tuning.

That 7:25 is unconfirmed. Nobody knows if the car has had modifications. That's why it's unofficial. The real time is 7:30. I've done this exercise before. I'd put money on the T being 7:40-7:45 with PDK and RAS.

Likely never. I believe PAG only tests and publishes data for track cars so Carrera numbers are from third parties. I doubt they'll test the ST either since it's not a track oriented car.
