I find my 991T to be more special than a base or S. I think they have retained more value because of this...but I also think the rise in new car prices had an affect. So I don't think it is fair to base depreciation on this data set. (Also, I find my 991T to be more special than my 992T...but that's just me.)

@Vernin I personally love Ruby Star Neo. I'm a bright color person by inclination and vocation, but couldn't talk my better half into it. Silver it is...

Agreed. What makes the 991T more special to you?

For what it is worth my dealer confirmed in an email, to me this morning that the reason my car was in production for only five days as opposed to the eight days previously is that production is being ramped up to complete all 992 orders before production ceases in Jan/Feb 2024.
So those waiting should check that your cars will actually be made and for "T" 's its the end of the road until next time if it ever comes? Those wanting the 992/2 not long to wait then,? Will their be a launch at the Los Angles Motor show? not long to wait and see.

We’re in a very different supply and demand environment than when the last T was introduced. I wouldn’t assume you can extrapolate off that.

Yep 911’s are much harder to obtain now. Many 991 T’s were specced by dealers and sat in showrooms. 992 T allocations are still being gobbled up by enthusiasts.
