I am delighted ! I was getting really worried that Porsche would end production of the T before I got an allocation.

My question is: typically how long after you receive an allocation do you get the TYD link/notification from Porsche ?

Thanks
Did you get a commission number on your paperwork? You can enter that to track your car.

No manual option? I teared up a bit. Interesting pics. Do Porsche dealerships in China typically have a lot of flowers in the showroom? Or just a Suzhou thang? All kinda confusing for a New Yorker….

Default Two T's and a SC

Spotted at a car show this weekend: Two T's and a SC

Unless I am mistaken, the stats are from left to right:
'72 911 T in Metallic Green
'23 911 Carrera T in Shark Blue
'79 911 SC in Guards Red

Almost exactly 50 years separating the two T's.

Can only give you what I know from what my dealer told me. Let’s see who posts a pic first.

Very cool to see these cars side by side and see the evolution.

Forgot to include one shot from the front which showcases how much wider the 992 is vs the E-series T.

I am hoping that my production week gets pushed as I will be traveling the week of the current dealership delivery date.

Thanks - I do have a number on the signed sales contract. I don't know if that is in fact the Porsche commission number.

In any event, in which (Porsche) website do I enter the number ?

Thanks

my.porsche.com

It's been a while, but should be a way on that page and/or after creating an account to "track your dream" or "add vehicle".

Haven't posted any pics since PECLA delivery in Mid-June. I admit, developed a bit of paralysis by analysis on the PPF front early on. I talked to so many different shops and by the time I decided on one I was comfortable with, they were booked out (because apparently, every model Y and 3 delivered in the Bay Area needs full body PPF) so the car sat for a few weeks until I could get her in. Has been done for a bit and couldn't be happier! Went full front, a-pillars/rear-quarters and rockers all one-piece and added on the replacement stone guard film bits (over top of the PPF) from Suncoast over those hips. Hoping that as those get peppered, I can pull them off and apply again.

Best $150ish I've spent on the car going with the clear side markers

Based on how seems like everyone does it, I expect to get heckled.

We don’t need to plastic wrap these cars.

There, I said it!

I really like that Metallic Green! Saw this '73 911 T a couple days ago - only 72k original miles - in Viper Green. The second car (not a T - it's a '72 911 E) is at the Leipzig delivery center - not sure but it might be Oak Green Metallic.

My sale guy actually told me Porsche for some reason was pushing to end December sales numbers early as possible, and that it wouldn’t surprise him to see these allocations filled early. If true, hope this helps all of us December fathers! 🚘
