992 Carrera T Club
I’ve been using the app to check my car status and ended up asking the dealer as nothing has moved for a month - turns out car is locked and in ‘Pre Production’ status with a estimated check point 8 date early November. And if I log in on my laptop I can now see a VIN which has probably been there for ages. 🙄
Quick question for any fellow UK folks on here please. Have you managed to get any production pictures as I think the US TYD seems to have more in it? If so how?
Thanks. Hope the car is not as slow as I seem to be 😂

that’s good to know… I prefer amber rear turn indicators vs red based on the quality of most drivers in FL… the extra visibility helps.
Anyone know if it’s possible to get the rear amber indicators from EU markets installed and working without challenge on US spec cars? … I may be the only one concerned, but down here, EVERY bit helps! 😵💫

My dealer told me he will keep an extra eye on the status over the next few days and report as the App I think is in Sleep mode.

I think I line up with SFL Composer leaving Emden for Jacksonville on 11/8. That works out on TYD for timing if I read it correctly. I know it’s just anyone’s guess if you actually make it.

Fantastic photo's and glad you enjoyed yourself on the Ring!
This was pretty funny haha.
It’s not easy, there are some “tricks” involved. First of all you need to know that the average fuel consumption is only measured based on the number “since last refuel”. So this cannot be reset manually. Second thing you need to know is that based on your actual driving style the mileage left algorhythm is changing constantly based on the miles averaged. This means that if you want to score the highest radius you first need to have your tank about half filled. All depending on what your average fuel consumption is. Then start driving economically as much as possible to maximize the mileage based on that consumption. This will take a pretty long while. I drive around 90-100km/h in 6th. There is not a big difference with 7th.
Then go to the gas station and throw in about 20 liters. Then drive as economically as you did before (or even better). The average miles consumption will then reset because of the refueling. When you are happy with your new average make sure the miles left is not increasing anymore but decreasing per mile you drive. Than you are in the right “algorhythm”.
The go to the gas station again and fill it up completely. And you get your max number.
It’s completely useless but it’s something I have always enjoyed doing once with every car I have owned. Especially now with the 90l tank. I think it’s pretty impressive for such a car to be able to do so many miles on 1 refuel. After the picture I drove it like I stole it again.
Just a great build!
How about you posting some more pictures of your car!
