It has previously been documented within the 992 subform that rear seats and belts are 21.5 pounds. Someone physically removed them from their car as well as weighed what they removed.
Inquire with a dealership Porsche technician as to what they suspect the 992 glass sunroof weighs with mechanicals involved. If one gets lucky they will actually locate a tech that has had to repair one under warranty like I have. “It is easily over 50 pounds.”
Wow. I was just guessing. Going from carbon roof to a glass sunroof is like carrying a sack of concrete on the roof! 👍 CF roof was a must for me.
I was told the Spyder wheels actually add weight....I bought them anyway!
You were informed correctly, they do. I greatly like the look of the Spyder wheels, but I did not look forward to cleaning them if I were to option them.
Collection day was yesterday! Such an amazing experience to finally see and sit in a car you picked every option for (and second guessed a few option choices). All I can say is that it’s perfect and I could not be happier. I’ll get more pics in the upcoming days to share with everyone.
Love it. We got our Taycan in the same color. Images never do it justice. Looks great in so many types of lighting. Looks great with the T trim.
