@Macboy I know was dirty.
I have a gravel driveway, that makes it dusty inside quickly if I have my windows down.
If they are up and I have the AC on then the outside gets dusty from the fan.
But do not fret, do not worry, on Friday I cleaned my car inside and out, took like 2 hours.
Also, the stitching is the Bordeaux red.
I am sure, carmine and guards would have clashed too much if I had gotten them.

Won't be for a week or so now as I picked up the car, dropped it home and then had to leave for pre booked work commitments (which annoyingly mean I'll be staying away from home until at least the weekend)

Fixed itself.
Mind you I had to take it up to 100MPH (in a 60MPH zone!!) then as if by magic, it closed.
Will keep an eye on it going forward.

let’s face it, it’s the PDK that adds most of the weight. All the other stuff don’t come close. The original, had no radio, no AC, no backseats, etc, now that was track focused. My friends on track day would remove door panels as well back in the day on drag strip day. That is weight savings.
Todays T is all about feel and usability on the road. As to the roof, even the cf isn’t that much of a saving either but looks good as I had it on my F80CP. I do agree if you plan to track this thing as it’s main focus, then by all means 86 the roof and all other weight saving measures should be followed. Otherwise country twisty roads were made for open air driving, windows and roof open. Track times need not apply. Fun does!

That being said I’m not sure how much it effects handling on normal street driving. Tracking it I would guess you would realize better lap times.

PDK is the main weight saving but if you add up the other stuff you can still shave some considerable fat. A CF roof over a glass sunroof is probably around 15-20 lbs. exclusive design wheels are 4 lbs each of unsprung weight. Rear seat delete maybe 10-12 lbs. No RAS or FAL maybe another 30 lbs. The weight of the standard spoiler over the fixed wing would surprise you (I’d guess 8-10 lbs from the metal housing and motor). This is how I built mine, as lightweight as I possibly could. I spec’d it for me. I even lost 25 lbs during my wait for my car.

It has previously been documented within the 992 subform that rear seats and belts are 21.5 pounds. Someone physically removed them from their car as well as weighed what they removed.
Inquire with a dealership Porsche technician as to what they suspect the 992 glass sunroof weighs with mechanicals involved. If one gets lucky they will actually locate a tech that has had to repair one under warranty like I have. “It is easily over 50 pounds.”

The forged design wheels save that much weight not the spyder wheels correct?

Thank you sir. Was the color as beautiful as you imagined driving it home.
