Well, I said I’d quit RList on the spot if someone repeated original post’s all 42 pics….which can’t happen. I’m fading but but not ready to quit this yet. Then saw @Uhu repeat his post but with only 41 sneaky tiny mini pics. I made that statement knowing original post had 41 not 42 pics. Could have sworn @Vernin say he was a professional bean counter. Hope he ain’t one of those cook-the-books type, ha….

Burning Brakes
Got my T, the Blue Beast last week. Wow!!! What a machine. Driven through many terrains like Mountain curvy ghat roads, Motorways, congested Bazaars… Elegantly Adapts all circumstances, the Mighty T🤓. Best of them is the serpentine mountain roads.. T embraces the road every inch even around the hairpin bends.
I love to drive with tight sporty suspension all the time, not at all inconvenient. Except slightly bumpy on expansion joints of few bridges.
I was worried about the monstrous speed breakers in our roads, thanks to lower GC of the T, so my first option was the FAL! But, I am amazed by the mysterious nature of the blue beast handling them with out the service of FAL🤨.
Eagerly Waiting for the break-in period to be over, to explore the explosive nature of the blue beast.

Wow that's an amazing time and just below the lap record.

Right totally agreed. Which makes it more likely that a mid 6 minute lap would be done at the GP track since it would be literally impossible at the Nordschleife. The most likely is that the stated time was wrong

I take no credit. It's all the platform the T provides and the expert coaching from @Uhu
prove it!
When I first spent time learning my way round the Ring in a Mini Cooper S (the 65 variety), I recall a family in front of me going through a hedge that immediately sprung back into shape so no one would have known a car had gone through it (there were no armco barriers in those days) in a Volvo P444 (not certain the number is correct) a rather bulbous ugly car. I had to pull over at Adenau Bridge and tell the German Gateman to get help to look for an errand Volvo skidding down the hill side somewhere !!! To this day I never discovered their fate? So congratulations for keeping it on the black stuff at a sensible speed you were comfortable with and bringing your pride and joy home.
The best advice is always slow in and fast out!
Enjoy the rest of your magical journey and post a few more pics not in hotels though! Well done.
Best Devon Racer.

Sport Auto lap times:
- 981 GT4 - 7:42 min
- 991.2 S - 7:34 min
The track has since been made even faster (resurfacing and some modifications - no jump at Flugplatz, quicker Schwedenkreutz section, etc)
- 718 GT4 - 7:28 min
Would be interesting to see a comparison test at a track between the 992 T, S and the manual 718 GT4
