992 Carrera T Club

Has anyone tried applying graphics to their cars after taking possession? mine has the classic factory T traffic but I really like the one on the attached GT3 Touring, it looks really good proportionately.. I'm thinking of doing this in a matching grey to my car once it lands.

There seems to be some sort of port delay in Eden, they bumped my car from shipping Nov 8th/ December 2nd to December 8th to December 22nd... Looks like a winter handover for my new 992T LOL anyone else experiencing delays or have an updated Halifax bound shipping schedule? it kinda sucks to be taking possession in mid January/February in Canada..

Oh yah, I was reading somewhere that those darn lids take cars off regular production.. they are cool and great value but oh my.. sometimes things that seem small can make a big impact on production.. Mine is already built and sitting at the port, I wonder if there are just not a lot of ships heading to Halifax NS.
Yeah, I have previously speculated that was what was holding it up so that may have been what you read? I spec’ed something so simple as the predesigned “Exclusive Manufaktur” lid so one would suspect those were already made and readily available? Maybe not… Oh well, it is headed to port now and allegedly via PCNA, not TYD it will be here at the first of the year. We’ll see…
Edit: BTW, the only reason I elected to order it was to set myself apart from the other Shark Blue Ts in town, especially since my PTS request was denied last August.

I don't know if anyone is ready for a tune, but COBB release their tune for the T today. Pretty unimpressive results compared to the the tune for the 991.2T. I had heard COBB wasn't being as aggressive with their recent tunes as they were in 2018.

Less aggressive doesn’t mean unimpressive. The trade off is less likely to do damage to peripheral components such as clutch and lower wear of engine. The nice thing with COBB is the ability to flip maps easily based on what you need.

19/20 winter tire set plus a comparison photo with 20/21 summer set. The winter tires don’t quite fill the wheel arches but they do ride nicer with the bigger sidewalls. Of course, they aren’t for looks or performance but for better grip in snow, slush and cold.

19/20” don’t fill the arch as well, as you say but in your part of the world in winter need’s must.
But…in my opinion it would look better if the alloys were black. Did you consider that?
As some of you know late August 2023 I was considering buying a new 992 T. Have 17.000 miles now and would be nice to change it. So discussed with my dealer and I specced a new one according to my wishes. The dealer just called me that it had arrived today! Crazy to see my second 992 T arriving while some of you are still waiting for their first one.
Just to be clear: it’s not mine (yet) and we haven’t made a deal. I don’t think we will because of the price difference and I added quite some things. So chances are extremely low that it will be mine, but it is made for my taste and spec. So can’t wait to go see it and post some pictures here. I think I will be going crazy seeing it in person and knowing it will not be mine.

I bet it's SB with yellow interior accents. I'm not sure I'd go see it unless you have a high degree of restraint. Specs are always so much better the second time around. Pretty good move, especially with your mileage. I may be offered a second allocation next week too and if it happens and I pull the trigger, I will build the car I wanted to build since the day after the freeze date on my current car.
