Its my first Porsche. How would you option this build minimally in an enthusiast prespective?
There's no wrong way to spec the car. You'll also probably build the car 100 more times on the configurator before you lock it in. If you need FAL, then get it. If you need rear seats then get them. If you think LCA is going to prevent an accident then get it.
If I was going to build a minimal spec I would still have different needs than you. I can get in my driveway without FAL for example, so I would exclude that. If I was going to be driving in SF then I would probably want it. Driving in SF is chaotic and sometimes you have to plow into a driveway. Not every driveway is wide enough to angle it in. Everyone has different needs. I would say the items that don't really make sense with the build are the Race Tex steering wheel and the fire extinguisher but that's just opinion.
My minimalist spec would include a stereo option and 18 way non-ventilated seats (and even the seats are for my needs due to sensitive back.) That's it.
Love your courage for the yellow. Go for it. There aren't many around.
You might like black wheels, but remember that the mirrors are agate grey and the "black" trim bits are more like dark grey, unless you get the High Gloss Sport design. I have them in agate grey and I wouldn't have them otherwise. But, make your own choice, this is just my opinion.
I know you only want to listen to podcasts in the car, but the base sound system could be even for that sub-optimal. And Bose is "only" $1,600, a really nice upgrade for really little money.
FAL is a somewhat "pricey" option. Try to get a 992 for a few hours or a day and drive around your normal routes and into parking garages. See if you actually need it. I visit quite often the Bay Area, drive around too, but I go mostly for Prius, Mini Cooper JCW (all rentals) or my sister's Outback...thus I can't really help you here. If you can live without it, you can use some of the savings for the Bose.
Rear seats only if you need them or don't want to leave them behind, as a no cost option.
Maybe he needs FAL to get into his driveway, and or the fire extinguisher it's much cheaper to get it at time of build, then to get it installed after the fact...
Curious what you think of my extreme spec'ed config
Lol, you looked at the configurator and said "yes, please".
Many of us who got the "ambient lighting" option would not get it again in the future. I have it, tried once to play with the intensity and color, put them back to white and low intensity and left it like that.
Personally I opted out of the smoking package just because I do not smoke and do not want to infer to anyone that my car has ever been smoked in. Sometimes 'free' isn't necessarily better. YMMV.
I never smoked, but if I can, I alway add the "smoking package" in any new car that I configure. You get many things extra (like lids for storage spaces, extra 12V power source, etc) for a small sum.
For the T, you get the "standard" insert too. So you can exchange them and no one will know that you have the "smoking package" from the factory.
I just removed the astray and left the in-built "cupholder" in place. Perfect for storing keys or a can of soda (Dr Pepper!)
@Uhu Sorry to be personal but you say you quite often visit the Bay Area? No reason why not? But I am correct in thinking you live near Adenau?
Just useful to know if I am communicating with someone in Germany or the States, Please don't be offended.

I’ll remove the option for fire extinguisher it just a cheap option thats the reason i opted for it. Why would be the race tex steering wheel doesn’t make sense?
No one should ever infer that a Porsche vehicle equipped with it has been smoked in as many dealers tend to option it for their inventory vehicles. The vast majority of owners use the cup as a change holder.

the sport design package in gloss black - ideally the aerokit in gloss black makes the best looking Potsche coupe available. The front end and rear end are improved in my opinion. Is the difference worth what Porsche charges? Depends on your pocket and if you like the look. One disadvantage is with the sport front end you lose the auto adjusting air vents in front of the radiators.
the big gaping front bumper is not as nice as the sport front end with more interesting shape. Only porsche nerds care of course. Kind of the same with deviated stitching - nice to have but not that big a deal really. Both are Porsche options meant to drain your wallet.

It's a very worthwhile option if you track your car and are required to have a fire extinguisher installed for compliance. I had it checked, but was forced to remove it for European Delivery. I'm probably going to end up taking a page out of @Scott P 's handbook and grab one of these since I don't think I'll need a mounted traditional extinguisher:

@Rowferll I have race tex steering wheels on most of my cars, My M2CS has it as standard and I have ordered it for my "T".
Much nicer if you are tracking and you wear proper race driving gloves, than leather,
All of course in my opinion. I have also included a fire extinguisher purposely because I intend to track the car.
Hope that helps but just get what you want it's your car not anybody else's. Good luck.

In my opinion it doesn't fit the aesthetic of the rest of the interior and doesn't fit the vibe of the Carrera T in general
If you look at the GTS interior there is a race-tex theme and it flows through the interior so it makes sense. I don't like race tex but at least it's used properly there.
In my opinion, race-tex being a completely man-made option out of partially recycled materials is a big rip off. I'll never order just bc of that rationale.
