Spent the day out with the local PCA chapter autocrossing, my first time doing so in my car and have a lot to learn! Finished just above mid-pack but think I prefer the HPDE events over autocross. Nonetheless, a fantastic day out there with some impressive drivers and vehicles. Special thanks to the photographers out there on the course! Love the way the deviated headrest pops in this one.
Interesting build for sure. Delete the rear seats unless you absolutely need them. But yeah it'll be great regardless. One thing I would add is a stereo option. The base stereo is dog turds
edit: seems like a very mainstream car build and not enthusiast spec. The fire extinguisher doesn't really match the vibe of the specs. You got rear seats, Lane Change Assist, Front Axle Lift, dash cam, power folding mirrors. Those are mostly daily use/commuter options. Then you got an alcantara steering wheel and a fire extinguisher. I don't really get what you're going for but like I said it'll be fine and fun to drive so who cares
Do you really need FAL??
I have it but won’t be reordering it in future - just not necessary unless you have an ultra steep drive!
100% get Bose and with the money you save get the key areas PPF’d.
Job done👍
For the love of God! What were you thinking with FAL and a fire extinguisher!???! Are you trying to personally be responsible for tilting the earth’s axis!??

I live in the Bay Area which in San Francisco roads here are crazy but would still considering removing it as an option if i dont really need it, its my first Porsche i would appreciate the recommendation. Regarding the fire extinguisher might just remove it. Its a $180 option so I told myself why not. Lol

Maybe he needs FAL to get into his driveway, and or the fire extinguisher it's much cheaper to get it at time of build, then to get it installed after the fact...
Curious what you think of my extreme spec'ed config

Not sure if i really need the FAL, i mean its my first Porsche and i live in the San Francisco Bay Area my SA told me i need it lol.
For thenl bose i dont know if that would even benefit me since I only listen to podcast most of the time and if I drive this I rather listen to the engine.

Its my first Porsche. How would you option this build minimally in an enthusiast prespective?
[QUOTE=Rowferll;19041127]Just received allocation for my first Porsche Carrera T delivery around January 2024. But am I crazy with this minimal build option?
No your not crazy. Only thing I would re-think is the FAL and I would add the Bose as even though our engines do indeed sound fantastic, sometimes on a long drive its nice to hear some music.....Personally I opted out of the smoking package just because I do not smoke and do not want to infer to anyone that my car has ever been smoked in. Sometimes 'free' isn't necessarily better. YMMV.
