It seems the only things a leather interior gives you are the dash and the doors??

I had the same reaction. Second comment my wife (albeit not a car person) made about the car was how nice the interior is.

I agree with you about mid engine cars if we're taking under the limit. At or past the limit, my experience is that they snap quickly and it's harder if not impossible to recover. Conversely, a 911 will let a driver know when the limit has been breached in a more progressive manner and allow time for the driver to recover.
I’ve driven an old 930 and that is exactly right. Porsche had the rear end pretty stable by the mid 1990s and this 992 T is very planted even with traction control off.

I’ll go check my numbers and post. I was on a pretty spirited run last week.
edit. My best numbers aren’t as good. I blame my wife and the fact I was in break in period. 😃

there are bunch of other panels that get wrapped in leather with that package. But at that point, if you got the money to spend, go with deviated stitching to match or contrast the exterior color of the car. I didn’t have extra $7k or what ever it was for the MY 23 just laying around so I got the standard, very happy with that decision.

You must not consider yourself a true “stitching enthusiast”. One thing I agree with DeMuro on.

it looks great, no doubt about it! But for the price per “unit” of of additional enjoyment that it adds, just wasn’t worth it to me.

Congrats! It looks GREAT! I am currently spec’ed with Shark Blue and I keep waffling between it and white, these pics certainly did not help. lol

If you don’t mind sharing what are your specs?

simple spec: Manual, glass sunroof, rear seats, Bose, power steering plus. I wasn’t sure if I was going to be happy with the standard interior, but it looks great, the stitching is actually gray so it has a nice contrast.

Guys:

Can we please, pretty please, with a cherry on top, delete pictures when you respond to a post with anywhere from 1-10 pics??? I'm alone in preferring to see a pic once instead of three or five times. You can either delete the pics in your quoted response or just start a new reply and tag the person you're addressing with the @ symbol.Let's all please make an effort not to pollute the thread.

The standard interior looks great, especially with a splash of color like yours. It's made incrementally better depending on your budget and taste. I have leather, deviated stitching, deviated belts and both dials and love my interior but I spent $11k on what amounts to different color items and a few strips of leather, which, when you see it from that perspective, it's rather stupid. If I were on a budget, I'd have zero issues going with the $0 option and depending on the exterior color, possibly adding the other $0 option of interior trim in exterior color.
