My S is good, sometimes I wish I had bought a manual but the PDK is impressive and when I bought it I had a 1 hour (each way) commute in fairly heavy traffic.

Assuming you’re still in Burlingame? I kind of get your driving in traffic comment….BUT, I’d only get a stick sports car.
Lastly….again, post pics of ur T when u trade in your S for it!!

I’m on a list for one that I know I’ll never get but if I do the money is there. My prelim build for those interested.

You may be able to take a mid engine into a corner faster but a rear engine comes through the apex like a beast. The mid engine can lose grip and send you spinning like a top. I’m much more comfortable in a hard corner with my rear engine. The feeling of losing traction with a mid engine is an experience I don’t wish to repeat. The car ran out of traction at the same time I ran out of talent.
I just love this combination with white and black. LOVE IT! BUT THE MISSES HATES IT UNFORTUNATELY.
Can we please, pretty please, with a cherry on top, delete pictures when you respond to a post with anywhere from 1-10 pics??? I'm alone in preferring to see a pic once instead of three or five times. You can either delete the pics in your quoted response or just start a new reply and tag the person you're addressing with the @ symbol.Let's all please make an effort not to pollute the thread.
My build is this: PRST1WG9 I didn't option the Front Lift, Rear Axle Steer or enhanced power steering as I'm attempting to find the most connected Man/Machine/Road feel possilbe

Now there’s a thought, leather on the outside of a car. That’d be a first👍

REVIEW DRIFTDAY
Well this weekend I booked a drift day. On a small test circuit of the RDW which is the Netherlands Vehicle Authority dealing with registration and legislation etc. So the circuit is not a real circuit. Which is important. Because when you want to drift your car clean and smooth circuit asfalt is the way to go. But this test circuit doesn’t have smooth asfalt but it’s raw as hell. It’s a hard stone compound not flattened. So it’s a pretty grippy asfalt. You get where I’m going probably. You need a lot more torque to perform the drifts that you can usually do on normal asfalt. Of course the asfalt is made wet. Otherwise one would lose its tires very fast. Most cars present were of course BMWs. That is: all the cars. Except for one Lexus IS200 and my car. All the cars have different rear wheels mounted. Different pressure on the tires. The test cars have a welded 100% sper differential as well.
I didn’t want to change anything on the car since I wanted to test the stock car configuration. On one hand this seemed logical. On the other hand the asfalt was not really stock and the alignment of my car was also not stock, with changed camber. But I did not intend to drive around all day. I was with a friend with his M140i. So we would drive multiple laps with that car and the Porsche was for personal testing only. The second “problem” of the day were the Michelin tires. My God do they have grip. When they are cold they don’t seem to work. But when hot they just have unbelievable grip. I still cannot believe my car has done 22.000km (that’s almost 14.000miles) with the first set of tires. And they would have still lasted a few thousand more! Combine this with the 992 where Porsche made a car with seemingly endless levels of grip and you have an ingredient of working hard and pushing hard to drift around.
What made it a bit more difficult was that the corners in 2nd gear were a bit too short so the rev was around 2500 when you start to push which is a bit too low on stock tires and setup. So it takes the car a while before pushing. Doing it in 1st gear is not advised, so you need to push a bit harder than you want to get the rear going. With the BMW you just hit the throttle and the car is breaking out easily. Next time I might change the rear tires or at least the tire pressures. But again: I did not intend to drift the car all day like this knowing how the asfalt was like. I really wanted to feel and stretch the limits of the car. But it’s crazy how much one should push the car before it slides. I know that on the normal road it’s much easier.
I have only 3 videos so will try to upload them. Did around 8 laps total. Unfortunately my friend was inside the car most of the laps so I only have some footage from the beginning. In the end it went a lot easier. But I really had a blast and a good day of fun. Especially with the M140i the drifting was pretty easy. Here are some nice fotos of the day.

Leaving out power steering plus is a great choice to go for full “manual” engagement. About the colors and interior I think having the white outside color with red stripe and then adding the white panels inside with red seatbelts works perfect. But I think you really should add the red tacho and chrono as well. Not the full red stitching as this could be too much in the whole color scheme. But the red vibe is something you can add a touch of. Red belts. Red chrono and tacho. Red stripes. Also because your eyes during driving will see the white color in the sidemirror. The white color on the frunk while driving and the white inserts from the interior. You need to balance this of with some red. The belts are only seen when parked or when you put them on, not while driving. So a lot of white in your vision which you can compensate with adding some red details with the red tacho and chrono. Killer combo! Furthermore you specced the ventilated seats thus the 911 logo disappears on the headrest. So I would add a touch of Porsche on the armrest. I would do the Porsche crest/weapon. Or the Porsche letters.

The pre-owned market has definitely softened and it does not appear to be exclusive to any marque nor model. It is a buyers market.
BTW, the Guards Red T that was listed on BaT closed late last week. RNM.
