992 Carrera T Club
Hi All,
What do you think of this build? This would be my first 911, the dealer called and let me know this was on the way. It has many options and is a bit more than I had originally planned for, but looking for any advice if it’s over optioned at $154k.

Only you can answer that, the value is what you decide it is.
My T build was $144k trying to restrain myself and it's very close to this one in spec. I think with the cost increases it's not unreasonable and you won't have the highest specced T as others are doing PTS colors and will probably come in a good bit higher. If you can swing it and no markup, do it.
I find it funny that the 8VH option on the build sheet is pulling the Taycan glacier blue tail light description. That's correct for the 911 option code, just wrong description.

I have recently been considering changing my Shark Blue build to White with Shark Blue belts. That way I still get a little bit of the SB. Who knows… good thing I have about a month left to decide.
Three Wheelin'
Another option would be White and the base Lizard Green package. I just think it will take a special buyer to want Lizard Green at resale. While many of us like it, must do not and yes I always take into account resale as I have spec’ed many of new vehicles my way and then I struggle to sell them years later. Actually dealing with it now... Anyways, I could go traditional and just do silver grey belts with the base interior as well. Kind of boring though. Ugh… lol
Edit: White w/ SB belts. https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PRH79TA0

Having a lot of bling options and skipping leather doesn't make sense to me.
I would question if you really need FAL, as most of us don't.
992 suffer from wind buffering at speed. Instead of the $500 CF window triangles, I'd get these: https://awe-tuning.com/products/awe-...or-porsche-992
The rest is personal taste.

I agree that it's really your decision. It's got a lot of stuff on it that will not effect how the car drives, so to me, it's a bit expensive. At 150+, I think I would be looking for a C2S.

Got pics recently when my wife took the T to the Ladies Track Day hosted by Rocky Mountain Region PCA...I know I'm a little partial to my build, but damn does the T look good in her element! Now I just need to get vinyl numbers...

Porsche underrates the base model for sure. We usually see about 360whp for a base, 380-390whp on the S, and 390-397whp on the GTS. We find them to lose about 15-18% in the drivetrain depending on C2 vs C4. It's not a perfect science, we mostly pay attention to the deltas. For reference, a stock 992 Turbo S puts down around 545-555whp on our dyno.
As others have said it looks like a really nice car that has a lot of options. You aren't missing anything critical IMO. And just so I'm clear, this is built already and arriving at your dealer shortly - so no chance of changing anything unless you wait for another allocation?

Weird that those numbers are low for the S and GTS compared to what M Engineering shows on their website (doesn't Flat6 use their tunes?). On their stage 1 dyno charts, m engineering claims 358/425/436 stock whp for base/S/GTS.

As for the deltas, yes, power for the S and GTS seem low which is why I posted. The M Engineering deltas are more in line with PAG numbers.
Any variance would be attributed to dyno more than anything.

Are those stage 1 or stock numbers? Flat6's #s are stock. 358 for the base seems low for stage 1.
