I just checked, it doesn't say in the manual. I would imagine in normal mode it is 60-70 mph then at lower speed for sport and the 10 mph like it says above in Sport +.

Read somewhere online deploys at over 60 partial way and full open at 90, then closes at 54 after open. But also as Indicated in the manual, spt+ is open at over 10 and closing at mode change or shut down if still in spt+ ? I could be way off.

@Green_Tea are you driving to MM via Petersfield and parking on site? Email tonight from Goodwood suggests it could be a bit dodgy re local flooding/potholes and soft ground so bring a tow hook! I only have the T or my wife’s Boxster so starting to panic although it’s probably overstated a bit.

It doesn't effect steering once you are on the move.
We are driving to Goodwood at the weekend for the Member's Meeting.
Very exciting !
@Green_Tea My point was that it's really not necessary as the amount of assistance available is ample for normal parking situations. However, I concede whatever a woman wants she should get! and Yes it is a bargain in Porsche price terms.
I've seen @celestequattro post below hope the car parks aren't that bad and you don't end up finding them shut or everyone having to be towed out!!
Good luck and enjoy the drive and MM meeting, (Goodwood Members Meeting for our US friends)
Best Devon Racer.

@celestequattro I assume you are going to the MM meeting and maybe meeting up with @Green_Tea ? I trust the car parks won't be a quagmire and you don't need to be towed out.
Enjoy what I am sure will be a fabulous weekend with stunning machinery to behold.
All the best,
Devon Racer.
PS. Perhaps fellow T owners @Pivot and @LuckyP might be around as they are Goodwood fellows? Sorry not to be there myself.

Default 992 Carrera T Build

Good afternoon, everybody! I am a first-time (Future) Porsche owner. I await my 2024 992 Carrera T in white (July 24 delivery). For exterior color, I like how the white, black, and agate grey play off each other. I saw this for the first time on Raiti's rides, and it looked dope. The grey wheels give me the same effect as black, but different. Here is my build. I would love your feedback: 50/50 on RAS and 50/50 on Chalk. I tried to keep options pretty lean, just the simple comforts. I am 99% sure this will not be my last 911. But I'm looking forward to driving this when it arrives—just in time for my birthday (August).

Don't need LCA, do you need RAS/Ambient lighting? Pretty doubtful IMO. Try the Exclusive Design Tail lights.

I appreciate the insight! I have heard mixed reviews on RAS. I added it because it's a feature you can't get on the base. Also, some very knowledgeable YouTubers (Savagegeese, amongst others) said that it's a great feature and almost a must-add. LCA and ambient lighting are, of course, nice to-haves.

I live in DAL/HOU, and people cannot drive and love to be in your blind spot, lol! My girlfriend has ambient lighting in her Taycan (she got a Porsche before me, lol), and it's pretty cool. But to your point, I could do without LCA and ambient. I would probably keep RAS, though.

What options do you have?

I found this video when trying to figure this out. Not sure if its accurate to our Ts, and like others have said its still not fully clear and I at least cannot see at all from the drivers seat.

Great find, good numbers, I now have a better understanding for the 992.2 front grill. The GT Silver under the lights looks awesome.

kewx007 I wouldn’t have a car without LCA. It’s saved me a few times. Also had a C4S with RAS and didn’t notice much difference. Did not include it on my build.
