I have FAL and I only have 2 saved locations (severe speed bumps) which with a little bit of care I could drive over without lifting.
Initially I swore by it, but that was more precautionary than reality. So I get your concern, but if there’s any way to get up your driveway without it, avoid FAL.
So in my case basically it’s turned out to be a waste of money!
Save yourself the money and spend it instead on upgrading your sound system!
Day 2 of driving. Have not scraped at my driveway yet, though I wager it will soon. I’m crawling in and out. I don’t yet regret skipping the FAL as the front lip is cheap enough and hopefully the scratches will be discreet when they come. The actual curb height here is 5”, so maybe a 7” or so descend from the driveway height to the road.

I used to go to that one years ago when I lived in Alexandria. I have some great pictures of some amazing cars out there. One weekend there was a 60's era Batmobile there...

I’m not particularly handy with a camera, but here are a couple of quick interior shots:
Yellow tach and sport chrono wart, plus the racetex GT steering wheel and accompanying shift boot/****. Yellow belts with child transport accoutrements already installed. Also splurged on a racetex armrest. 911 embroidered in the head rests.
