992 Carrera T Club
I didn’t even know my car had SatNav. Google Maps all the way.

Not a bad view from in here. Already got 200 miles on the clock in less than 48 hours. I've been doing engine break-in procedures almost the entire time
A few things on my mind as I familiarize myself with the car
1- To reiterate everyone else's and my own opinion, the base stereo is very disappointing. Waiting for Musicar or different solution
2- Sport PASM is very very livable. I think it's a bit soft for a sports car tbh
3- The engine/intake//exhaust note from inside the cabin is fantastic. Much better than the 992 I rented. I imagine it's because I don't have rear seats in mine
4- the stock shifter is just OK. I already installed my Numeric short shifter and this is how it should come from the factory. The engagement is much smoother than stock surprisingly.
5- the shift k.*** design is terrible. I can understand now why they just spontaneously break and why Chris Harris is on his 3rd or 4th one in just 50k miles on his GT3. I compromised mine just installing and removing it 4-5 times during the installation. I'm going to install my sportshifters k.*** in a couple of days and that has a proper mounting solution thankfully
6- my driver's side window is binding up against the door panel and making a squealing noise and leaving marks on the glass. The door panel also has an annoying rattle. Not surprised but kind of annoyed that it already needs something fixed. But who cares. The car is amazing
7- this point might sound stupid to most but the engine braking is not nearly enough and I wonder if a tune could fix that
8- PECLA is amazing. Driving a rear engine car in low traction situations is very eye opening. The staff there was awesome. My instructor even let me drive the Turbo S which is a mind bending experience. For anyone that goes there, ask to do the low traction course and try to drift the entire thing linking all the corners. It's so much fun that I want to go back this year and do the extended driving course.

I understand VAG SWARM system uses Google maps but has its own logic, shared across VAG group (Skoda, Seat, VW, Audi, Porsche, Lamborghini, . . .). At least that is what I was told at PEC.
It explains why my custom locations saved in my previous P-cars are available, just can’t rename new ones.

This week ended a near-month of family reunions and get-togethers. So satisfying to get back to my routine, including driving the T.

I was up early today and hit 4 different cars & coffee events. Did about 100 miles without leaving my local area! lol. I do really enjoy the T. IT NEEDS MORE EXHAUST VOLUME! When I'm all alone, it's great. When I'm around other cars on the road or in a C&C, it's downright wimpy. I'm not sure if I want to mod it and which way to go. But that's another story.
New shifter **** ordered.
My driver's window squeaked really badly going down in the beginning. I put a lot of detail spray on it to lubricate is a bit. It's gotten better over time. I'm a bit worried about what's rubbing and if it would cause the glass to break like Scott's window.
The 911T, with Aero, in Python... REALLY TURNS HEADS! And I was at a C&C with VERY high end cars, but it still got more than its fair share of attention. Which is always nice.

So, after reading all 16,890+ posts in this thread - keeping up regularly since the T announcement in October - I'm about to take some time off. In just over half an hour, we're heading to the airport for our flight to Munich! On Monday, we'll take the trains to Leipzig, ahead of my T delivery on Tuesday afternoon. It's been over two years since I first went to my dealer, and over 5 months since the car was built in March - can't wait to meet my T and drive the **** out of it in Europe for 16 days!
Cant wait to see it. I will be going to him this Saturday. Will make some pictures and post here as well as in the 718 thread you showed me.
