Isn't there a TSB about the LWG breaking? If so wouldn't the dealer replace the glass under that at no cost? I understand the insurance would cover breaks from an impact but this should not be needed for the cracking issues reported from general use.

Yes, there is. The TSB was recently posted. I saved the pdf.

Personal preference.
I went with RAS mostly because it's an option available only on certain cars, the T being one of them. So I thought it would help make it more unique, maybe even help resale some day. And would I feel the difference? Maybe, but not likely. I'm not that good. lol

Just a thought…..
You splash out $300k on a ST and some little punk in a Carrera S beats you away from the lights and has a faster top speed.
I know I know I’m an illiterate wazzock that doesn’t understand the ethos etc etc

He states that they decided to remove RAS because this is not a track focused car, but rather a street car and they wanted to save 22lbs instead (including related electrical and smaller battery). I take that to mean that on the track, they are gaining more with RAS despite adding 22lbs. And for this car, it's not about shaving tenths of a second, it's about being lightweight.
A Model 3 Performance will beat both to the next stoplight, but are you cross-shopping with one of those?
Can’t believe remote work will be over soon. Maybe a good thing since my Manhattan condo’s been empty too long since I got my T. Man, I’m gonna miss driving these roads every lunch break!

That guy is putting us all to shame! That and creating some inspiration.
Good move.... just go for a drive.
Thanks @Wilder
I watched the TG video clip and I see it is a love child of an early S and a T. Very cool combination, but frankly it could be a Carrera T with an S (450hp) motor.
and now I will get my coat

Will the 718 sit alongside your T or have you sold her to make room?
Yeah, as many here have experienced, TYD is a bit spotty (don't make any concrete plans around the dates ). Some of us got 3 pics (me), some got all 4, etc... but it's still nice to be able to follow your car's journey via the tool.

Still a bit worried about the manual aspect as haven't driven one in years, but everyone say's it's much easier than the Pontiac Fiero (picture for the uninitiated) I learned on, so Ce La Via.
More collectable than a Carrera T I think not, although in 1988 they put in vastly improved underpinnings, so that's good.
FROM GOOGLE
Is the Pontiac Fiero a collectible car?
While all Fiero models are considered to be collectible, the 1988 model year is particularly sought after by collectors due to its limited production numbers and vastly improved underpinnings.

I too couldn't stand not driving my Porsche on such a beautiful day. This morning, I went for a drive early, before the idiots took to the roads. Oh wait, what forum am I on? Ooops! I took my 718 this morning! LOL. I love that car! (shh, don't tell the T)
