@Macboy Bose. 4-ways. No alcantara roof. Deviated stitching. All excellent choices. Color is personal but if I buy a second T, it will be white. I love IGM but if you ever needed a panel repainted, matching might be tough.
I’m on the fence about acquiring the gurney flap from the ST. I’m sure Suncoast will have it eventually but I’m not sure if it works as well as it did on the 991.2 GT3 Touring with the parting lines on the 992 wing.
I know the ST is just about as perfect of a 911 as AP has ever created, and part of me thinks that all of these ultimate editions (ST, Sport Classic, GT4RS, etc.) might be setting us up for a disappointment in hybridization, but I can’t help but see this image and think the rear of the ST is a bit too busy. The wing might be better without the gurney flap
@Macboy Just described my car (95% accurate). I didn’t go for the deviated color stitch (just black) on my ice grey build just because I wanted to keep cost down and I also went with the silver grey seatbelts and painted trim and I didn’t want too many colors going on inside.
Being one of the members who owned the previous generation T as well, one thing that annoyed me was the gloss black trim with fingerprints and the painted trim brightened up the interior (for free). If I get tired of it, I can always replace it via Suncoast. I just hate gloss black.
The T interior gray didn’t pop to me (lizard was too bold), and wasn’t much different from the black stitching (probably better in person) and I didn’t get white gauges because I worried it would be obviously different than the ice grey trim inside. I agonized over this stuff, we’ll see if I made the right call on Saturday
I think my only real disappointment re. the ST is that grill badge. It's kind of lame that Porsche only offers that to people buying top-class cars, while all of us buying any 911 in 2023 should be afforded the same opportunity to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the model. The T is my first new 911, my 5th Porsche, and it's the 60th, I would love to own and run that badge on my car. I'll stop whining now.
I suppose someone could come up with a 60th badge for those who want it for their 2023…
I want the S/T for the real door handles! I hate the disappearing handles that work only 50% of the time. The S/T handles look like they came from the Cayman, which is a good thing! They work 100% of the time.
And yes, Porsches are VERY easy sticks to drive. VERY.
If a manual transmission is available, that will always be what I select so long as my physical health permits. In the past 36 years as a license driver I have always had at least had one manual in the garage.

Agreed although just 1 isn’t enough. I’m a hoarder and currently have 5.

I also noticed that grill badge more than anything else in the introduction...I suspect Porsche will put out something through their retail channels. We are just now seeing 75 years of Porsche collection hitting the market. I expect a grill badge for that as well.
I’ve done a few T mods that were a must for me including the Euro side markers. I’m considering lowering it also but when they had my T on the lift recently, they said skid plates are all scratched. Ha, didn’t even know. Also, someone mentioned CEL issues with exchanging coils? That’s new. Anyone feel lowering T is still a must even with scraping, etc? Also, any T mod aside from audio/exhaust anyone feels is an absolute Must?!
Thoughts on adding only the white center dial with the standard interior and silver grey belts? Edit: Nevermind I have nixed the idea.

100% regarding the door handles.

I am right there with you! I currently have four manuals. A month ago it was five.

My current daily driver is the first one not a manual in a long time. Audi and BMW stopped making manuals (except in the M's which I don't want for a daily). I loved my 2011 BMW 328i M-sport 6spd, RWD. LOVED that car. Last of the hydraulic steering.
When the C8 was introduced, the non-manual made it a non-starter for me. I will not buy ANY hobby car in auto - unless it's a race car, maybe.

Lots of fine color choices but you can never go wrong with white. Looks great and much easier to maintain than darker colors.

Agree. I’d never buy an automatic sports car. And my friends would mock me eternally if I did. Had temporary insanity putting a deposit on a C8, but quickly canceled it after one test drive. Fast but boring and cheap build quality. Just sold my 2020 AMG E63 auto that was collecting dust since I got my T. But also have an auto 2014 E350 with 25k miles I’ll keep since since a good solid clean sedan boat to have around.
